Wow, so much is happening, I have been interviewed by the local NBC newscast last week, now the CBS newscast is coming over in a couple of days. I'm being interviewed by Tomart about my Wolverine prototype shown below.
Here are pictures of my X-Men room, or shrine as some have called it. As of today May 22, 2006, I am updating the pictures. I just remodeled the room and now I need to start again with all the X-Men 3 movie items overseas and the new Marvel toys coming out.
With each passing day, I find a few items that I do not have from the past and of course a lot of new items that ship monthly.
I also have an extensive comic collection, my earliest is Uncanny X-Men #7, then from 21 on I have pretty much every issue ( missing a few between 30-92, but not many). I have all the spin-offs, and mini-series, promo issues, books, novels, etc.
But the toys and collectibles are definitely the coolest. I have toys from all over the world: Italy, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Russia, England, Spain, France, Mexico, Argentina, China, Canada. If you have any questions or would like history on some items or better pics, let me know.
As of March 2006, the room is being re-designed. After the UK and US toy fairs, I'm preparing for the Onslaught of X-Men items over the next year, so I need to make more space. You probably wonder how I can get more space out of a 25' x 10' room. Well I originally made sure I had space, and I'm continually evaluating effective use of the space. I hope to have new pics up by the time X-Men 3 is out.
Here is a prototype of an action figure line never made. reportedly 1 of 2 in the world:
