As you can see, he is faced down and slightly buried under a couple other figures. Johnny thinks it is a Nachiguron too, and the plastic is the same color as a M.U.S.C.L.E. also. I am waiting anxiously for this lot to arrive!

The seller is from Simi Valley, California. Not exactly our "near the border" origins, but the figures could have been from somewhere else.

I received an email from the seller of the auction with this next possible super rare. He is going to mail the auctions I won from him with this figure and a bunch of others in a few days. Unfortunately, I am leaving town on Saturday morning, so if they don't arrive by then, it will be about two weeks until I can confirm the Nachiguron as a legit Super Rare M.U.S.C.L.E. or not. I was hoping they would arrive sooner, but it doesn't look like this is going to happen. I guess I will just have to live with the anxiety of not knowing for the two weeks I am gone. I'll be sure to rip that thing open first thing when I return though. If it arrives before I leave, then I will for sure break the news of whether or not it is the next Super Rare.

Seriously though, do you have a 30" monitor, eagle eyes, magnifying glasses. How are you spotting these suckers? Now the dark emporer one I blew off 'cause they looked like a bunch of dirty old damaged muscles but now even though I'm looking a little closer I didn't see it. Now I did download it from the auction earlier and blow it up with Photoshop and can kinda see it but surely you aren't going that far, no?

Oh yeah, if you don't wanna reveal any trade secrets that's cool but for god's sake man, throw us a bone

I hope it's a muscle & not a kinkeshi. I noticed the guy auctioned off a bunch of kinkeshi too so one could have got mixed in but on the positive side, he seems to know the difference between muscle, kinkeshi, kinnikuman, etc and so would have got 'em divided up correctly.

I just keep a close eye and usually just briefly check out the picture to see if I see anything obvious. I take a close look at the shape of each figure. I guess I just have a Super Rare sense.

Yeah I saw that auction too and scooped it up as well, that seemed like too good of a deal to pass by. And Marty helped to convince me. I don't think it is a Kinnikuman in the M.U.S.C.L.E. auction because the color too closely matches that of a M.U.S.C.L.E., from what I can see in the pic. Hopefully this holds true.

Yeah I saw that auction too and scooped it up as well, that seemed like too good of a deal to pass by. And Marty helped to convince me.  I don't think it is a Kinnikuman in the M.U.S.C.L.E. auction because the color too closely matches that of a M.U.S.C.L.E., from what I can see in the pic. Hopefully this holds true.

No, I still have not received them.

I asked the seller why it was taking so long and he wrote me back. I guess he forgot to mail out the package. He said it was sitting in the corner of his room and he thought it was an empty box and was very sorry. He said that he was going to for sure get it out first thing Monday. He lives in California and I am in Arizona so I should be getting them soon. He is a 0 negative feedback seller so I trust that he just made a mistake and forgot to ship it.

I will let everyone know what I find as soon as I receive the package.

UPDATE!!!

I just received the lot of M.U.S.C.L.E. figures with the figure that we thought might have been the next possible Super Rare. It has almost the same exact color as a M.U.S.C.L.E. and is nearly as hard as an authentic M.U.S.C.L.E., but I am afraid it is a Kinnikuman.

Very strange figure though. I had to look long and hard at this one to determine if it was legit. I have never seen any Kinnikuman closer to a M.U.S.C.L.E. than this one. But once you have it in your hands it is abviously a Kinnikuman figure.

Smells like a Kinnikuman, so it is obviously so. However the pic in the auction had me convinced. Oh well, still a good buy, and a ton of figures I have now that are very interesting. I got a bunch of Kinnikuman and M.U.S.C.L.E. figures that I will be auctioning off. I am sure many of you avid collectors will find a lot of these figures to be of great interest!!!

I will post pics of the mistaken Super Rare tonight next to my authentic Super Rares so we all can see the difference. I am kinda relieved in a way that is just a Kinnikuman, believe it or not, otherwise our theories about the Super Rares originating only from Part 15 & Part 21 would be shot to shizznit!

Oh well, it was worth a shot! For what it's worth I agree with your logic on the supposed SHA auction. It was a decent price per figure even without a SHA, just too bad the unit stiffed you! I've taken some chances on auctions and other purchases--sometimes it pans out, sometimes (more often) it doesn't. As long as you don't pay an outrageous amount WTF

Notice how close the colors are, but that the M.U.S.C.L.E. has a glossyness to the plastic and the Kinnikuman does not. Here' the first shot...

And how coincidental that you found him as opposed to any other person around here. I guess it fits, oh Master of the Rares...
