Marty's plastic is harder and feels more brittle than MUSCLE plastic (at least, it is with all the customs that I have). I share Veers' trepidation about the head matching the figure so precisely, though. There's literally no way to tell that the head is fake from those pictures.

I'm all for Marty's customs as long as a buyer can tell by looking at a picture that it is fake. I'm not saying that you're "immoral" for doing this, Marty, but I think if you do it too much, collecting the Super-Rares will get pretty dicey. It seems that you agree though, since my Super-Rares Trilogy is slightly off-color.

That is true. And I state in the auction that it is a custom head to avoid any confusion. I had the head made so I could offer a complete SHA to someone who does not have one. The plastic's hardness is slightly different than that of an authentic M.U.S.C.L.E. SHA head. But it completes the figure, which is what most would want, instead of a headless SHA.

It is made of hard plastic not the flexi plastic so it can be differentiated as a custom head.

I only made this close a color match due to the fact it is going on a REAL SHA's body. 90% of this figure is 100% original...

I really don't think that many SHA's are floating around out there and everyone needs to simply pay attention to the winner of this auction...because this is the only one that will be out there that is not either 100% hard plastic custom or 100% real flexible plastic G1 muscle.

This really is not a big deal...in fact, I through a small bid on this auction. I would love to own a 90% original G1 SHA.

well i wouldn't mind getting a custom flexi plastic from godbeast right about now until i get my hands on a real one but i own custom satan cross from him but i like to own a a flexi one of SHA which would be sweet but i would go for a color that hasn't been used. a baby blue would be nice.

Yeah Marty, make a mold of your head and then shrink it down to fit on a SHA. Now that would be SUPER RARE!

Is it obvious that the head is a custom (i.e., harder, softer, etc.)?

It looks like a perfect match from the picture, which worries me. Isn’t this the issue that we (or at least some of us) always worried about when Marty started making customs?

on that what you said i own a custom from marty and i like it but you can tell its a custom when you see it in person. it's really soft and almost gum like in texture but i still love the custom he sold me. i'm not worried that marty makes customs because you can it's a custom but i'm glad he does make them because i can settle for a knock off if i can't get the real thing.

I just realized that the Flesh head Glows In The Dark Red! That's the only part of the figure that glows in the dark, but it is very cool when it is attached and charged up in the dark. It's an eerie red head that illuminates the rest of the body!
