I've had a very interesting partial discovery.
I've been dealing with an incredible helpful (and popular) SW collector. He brought up something he thought both of us would be interested in, but neither of us can completely validate or locate.
The collector vaguely remembered them, and another collector remembers (for a fact) getting one for a kid for his birthday when he was a child. He has asked around on other boards and has never received any replies about them. The collector that purchased one vaguely remembers getting them at a Canadian grocery store chain called The Real Canadian Superstore, so perhaps they were a Canadian exclusive to that chain.
The packs were Mattel gift packs in where you got a Hot Wheels car, He-Man figure, MUSCLE figures, and maybe a Bravestar. They came bagged inside a solid blue box so you didn't know which figures you were getting.
Do any Canadians remember anything like this? It's possible the toys listed are incorrect.
Thank you all in advance!

this isn't really related to this particular instance, but toys r us has exclusives all the time, mostly multipack situations. also, costco has had exclusive multipacks. the only difference here would be that they were all multiples from the same line. but, i would be willing to believe that a multipack exclusive of several different lines from one single company is possible. especially in the eighties when they knew how to sell cool toys.

I doubt we will ever find one. From the sounds of it, it was just a blue box – there wouldn't have been any good reason to keep it. My hope is that we can at least find a picture of one.
Multipacks have been around along time (hell, maybe little green army men are the first?), but this is the first time I've ever heard of something crossing toylines. Part of me thinks that the stores were simply putting the packs together with damaged/opened items or something like that.
