We often talk about what are our favorite figures, the best figure, and even our least favorite figure. Now it's time for these figures to battle to the death. The figures have been selected and seeded based on LRG threads and administrator discussions. I have also tried to credit the site's that provided the pictures.

Each morning I'll try and list a new game. The board will be given ~24 hours to vote for the winner.

The question for this tournament is, "Which is the overall better figure?"

Note: This tournament features many different types of figures, please consider the entirety of a figure (sculpt, detailing, materials, originality, etc.) when voting. Additionally we ask for understanding with the lack of consistent pictures. Do not dismiss a figure because of a poor picture. Please feel free to post a better picture of the figure you selected.

As big of fan of Gormiti as I am, that Archibathor is awesome looking! Fabulous colors and details.

While both of these figures are very solid all around theres a consistency displayed in the first figures sculpt (Gormiti) that the 2nd figure lacks in its lower body or extremities in general.

The Dynofighter looks good with its silver & red highlights and reptilian head but the blue body leaves something to be desired. I think claws or some sharp feature in the body would have helped tremendously as the blue color itself is fine.
The Gormiti is a solid villain looking figure with a "safe" color pattern. The head sculpt reminds me of something but im not sure what. But something pleasant lol.

Marvel Comics Wraiths (from the 80's)?
A barbarians mask from a comic i read ?
Im not sure but it works well. It strikes me as a great supporting cast type figure and would truly be a standout if it had a red and black based paint job.

Gormiti gets the nod....barely.

Divide & conquer works because of attachments people make to push-button issues, individual "leaders," parties, clans, tribes, policies, or agendas, leaving them open to manipulation.

This is a pretty close one for me.

The Gormiti is definitely a bad guy. His arms and legs look pretty cool, but it seems like they paid very little attention to the body. The head is cool, but nothing special. It reminds me of a bull skull, not terrible unique. As Articulationnut said, the coloring is pretty safe. Do the arms move? It looks like they do. I don't know that it helps or hurts the figure, but I was curious.

The Dynofighter really appeals to me because of the unique coloring – especially for a dinosaur-type figure. I have no idea if this is based on a real dinosaur, but frankly I don't care. This figure has a dynamic pose that doesn't limit its playability. Plus it feels like this figure could interact with lots of other toys as a monster, pet, good guy, bad guy, etc.

I guess my vote goes to the Dynofighter for playability and unique coloring.

The Gormiti line is something i have been a great supporter of since it's UK release. Rocciatauro, however, is prolly one of my least favourite Gormiti figures in my collection. There is nothing essentially bad about the figure as such, he just does not have the same level of detail as a lot of the other figures in the line. He looks menacing enough, but i would have liked to see a bit more facial detail. The thing that puts me off him is his crappy weapons. I don't even know what they are, but he would have been a much better figure without them. The paint job is simple and lacks any flair which is a shame considering some of the great detail and colours of his other tribe members.

Now Archibathor! Wow! I think this guy is pretty awesome, never seen these things before but i would love to get hold of one of these guys. Great colour scheme, his lower body looks very cool with great texture, i like the whole small body, large head format. His head is great too i love how it forms into his tail and he has the most awesome mouth, not often you see a LRG with such an awesome mouth.

Archibathor for the win!

This is a tough call for me, as well. And it all came down to coloring and detailing. While Rocciatauro has a bad-ass overall look and appears to have great playability, his color scheme looks a little bland and uninspired, and his features are a little vague. Archibathor also has a great look and, though he might be a little lacking in playability compared to Rocciatauro, his color scheme almost knocked me on my ass, and the sculpt is beautifully detailed overall.

So, Archibathor gets my vote. It might have been different if Rocciatauro had a different color scheme.

yesterday was a no-brainer - today i can't really choose.
they are both just so uninteresting to me. the dynofighter looks too much like a kinder egg toy or something that would come in a kids meal and i really havent grasped the whole gormiti hype - to me there are so many better figures - heck, even yugioh has better / similar looking characters with better detail and paint AND are readily availible on the cheap.

anyway - i still enjoy this tournament!

Rocciatauro has a pretty cool sculpt. He looks like a rock monster with a cow skull for a head. Two things bother me with the figure, though. First, what are those things in his hands? Are they supposed to be weapons? If they are, they're pretty crappy-looking. Second, his color scheme is boring. The black and dark brown kind of muddles together. The green highlights are cool, but the overall color scheme is bland.

Archibathor is a pretty sweet figure, though. Not only does it have an interesting sculpt with a dynamic pose and fun color scheme, it also get brownie points for being a prehistoric marine reptile. This is a figure I would love to have in my collection.

I go with Archibathor!

Sorry the Gormtii fig kind of sucks, an his pose reminds me of cheap ole 80's gumball figs. Does his arms move?

However the Dinofyter is not only an awesomely detailed figure, it's an awesome choice of a Prehistoric critter! I loved Dinos as a kid with my giant rubber Imperial dinos and dinoriders, and I always bought plastic dinosaurs in the bags and played the shiznit out of them. So Archibathor gets my vote for cool sculpt that I would have loved as a kid, and enjoyed as an adult/kid who will gladly walk with the manager back to Toys section of walmart to get the proper price on action figures that rung up higher than anticipated. :starwars:

I like the Dinofyter alot....surely Worth looking further into that line.

The black and dark brown (on Rocciatauro) kind of muddles together.

Note: parenthetical above was added by me.

Black and dark brown? Either the picture isn't all that great, or I need to get my eyes checked--Rocciatauro looks dark blue and gray to me.

Yeah the picture does look blue, however the one i have is definately a more black colour, i would say Very dark Grey, charcoal colour. The same colour as the longjohns i am wearing right now.

Rocciatauro is pictured in his Atomic recolor. Those green highlights are actually glow-in-the-dark parts. I don't think this will help much, heh, but this is his original color scheme.

I can't figure out how this guy ended up on what is presumably a subgroup of favorite Gormiti figures. When I first bought Gormiti, he was among the ones in the bunch. And he was always my least favorite of the four I had. It would take an appallingly bad figure to cause me to vote for him.

And as luck would have it, he got paired up against one of the very few Dynofighters that doesn't suck bull scrotum. Seriously, guys, this is not a good toyline in general. But, Archibathor stands out among the series as an actual cool sculpt, and overcomes my general revulsion for the line to earn my vote.

Finally, since a bunch of people asked, the Gormiti figure is not articulated.

Yes, that does help. But you're right--still a pretty underwhelming sculpt.

That yellow looks better, but it still wouldn't have been enough for the win.
