I voted for Graffiti Petey - the reason primarily because i just do not like the way the other figure is fused to the grave headstone, things like that annoy me. I like the other aspects of the figure, the ghoulish face and the detail on his corpse like body, but why did they have to stick a chunk of plastic to his leg? The name tells us where he would likely hang out, we dont have a huge bell attached to the hunchback or a coffin stuck onto the vampire... Come on MIMP makers sort it out, you have ruined a perfectly good figure.

Plus i kinda like graffiti petey, he has a cool little smirky face

Grave watcher seems a bit akward, while Graffiti Petey exudes coolness. Petey reps. his era with passion and style. Him and Adam Bomb are the two GPKs I would like to actually own.

I went with Pete. I own a Gravewatcher figure, and I'm trying to sell it. Is that enough to say? I don't care for the figure. There's some Series 4 MIMP that are cool-- there's a glow in the dark Lovecraftian monster that's absolutely awesome, but Gravewatcher... well, he should be watching a flat-on-the-ground tombstone, and not stepping THROUGH a grave.

But Pete, well, the only way he'd be more accurate as a Punk is if he shifted the finger he was holding up by two. THAT would be truly punk.

I totally agree. Petey is about as basic and generic a GPK as you can get. The ghoul coming out of his grave is a fun concept and he looks like he has some interesting sculpting details. This is a figure I'd like to see up close. So it's the ghoul for me!

As the first Super Scary MIMP i ever owned, i have to say that Grave Watcher was a big disappointment. I was not particularly looking forward to the rest of that series once i'd seen him. In retrospect though, there are definitely worse series 4 MIMPs, while Graffiti Petey is probably the single most boring GPK sculpt available.

So my vote goes to the Grave Watcher, even though i am really not a fan of either of these figures.

I voted the GPK for 1 simple reason. I can't figure out what the MIMP actually looks like other than a glob of yellow with one spot of red on top.

I am guessing that the 5 votes that the MIMP has, are from people who either hate the GPK figure or actually have the MIMP figure.

Although i think even if i could make out exactly what the MIMP was it wouldnt get my vote. Zombies /the undead dont really move me. Petey's confident look and classic 80's style is enough for me.

And I'd like to move that we stop using red GPKs if possible, I can't make out the detail. The human eye can see more shades of green than any other colour, so if we could switch to green we might find that there are more people who vote GPK because they can actually see the figure.

Oh, and are there any more mimp in the competition? I'll be willing to take photos of them if I have them so you can stop using those horrible tiny grainy pictures from the mimp archive.

sure has gotten hard to find nice things to say about figures i wouldn't want in my collection. harder still is finding the softest kid gloves in order to deal with owners of said figures.

i'm just glad i didnt waste 9 months on this flawed thing

Many GPK's look ebtter thant he Grave Watcher, but this isn't one of them. I vote for Grave Watcher, the 3D dessicated skeleton coming out of a tombstone.

neither one is great, but one is definitely a full out suck fest. gravewatcher, along with most of the post series 3 mimp sucks ass.

while my love for yokai grows every day, this umi bozu sculpt just doesn't do anything for me. and the fachen figure you mentioned looks like a chewed up army ant. i know lots of people like this series, but i just dont' see it. series 1-3 is where this line peaked in my opinion.

Yes, I totally agree with you there. The only figures I really care for in Series 4 are Fachen, Umi Bozu, Astaroth (should be Belial), and the Ghilan. The rest of them? Eh.

Series 2 had some really good pieces and some stinkers - the art style seems to have changed, and in g eneral they had less detail.

I canj see a lot more detail in the grene pictures. The red ones are just blobs.

petey. for some reason he just is more appealing. and i like the size of the GPK's, i dunno why. i like little things.
