The question for this tournament is, "Which is the overall better figure?"

Note: This tournament features many different types of figures, please consider the entirety of a figure (sculpt, detailing, materials, originality, etc.) when voting. Additionally we ask for understanding with the lack of consistent pictures. Do not dismiss a figure because of a poor picture. Please feel free to post a better picture of the figure you selected.

The Koala is probably one of the best looking or cleanest sculpted SD Beasts. The "Beast" Is very detailed, but I'm not into biblical based creature figures. ;)

I've said it before, I'll say it again - I don't like the SDBBs.

Great Beast is a cool figure, he easily gets my vote.

Koala is one of my fac SDBB. Lots of detail, and very nice looking. BUt Great Beast is one of my fav MIMP. However, I like the Koala better.

Back in the olden days of my youth, Great Beast was a figure that i played with quite regularly. Multiheaded anthropomorphic dragon creatures ranked highly on my 'Cool as eff' list. However even back in those heady days of Raleigh Grifters and Desperate Dan bars, i had an uneasy feeling about the figure... in fact about the MIMP line in general.

I knew in my heart it was a poor substitute for M.U.S.C.L.E. which had, a few years earlier, resigned my other toys to the bottom of the toy chest. There were some things that worked well with MIMP and other things that were.... well shizznite.

Let me cut to point. It is all about scale. With a figure like Great Beast he loses a lot of any greatness he proposes to have when he stands next to a figure like, say Red Cap. The scale is all wrong see? His heads look all shrunken in comparison and i realise that had to happen in order for the figures to be the same size (although muscle seemed to be able to pull off quite some cool differences in scale e.g. Puyo puyo compared to Sunshine Arch at least it gives the impression of a difference) but it means that smaller figures like hunchback and redcap and beast are more effective than Great Beast, T-Rex and Dragon.

EDIT: Woops! Afterall that i forgot to mention i did actually vote for Great Beast ;) Those SDBB's just rub me up the wrong way.

I love multi-headed monsters, so Great Beast is by far the coolest MIMP I've seen in this tournament so far. He's so cool he makes me want to collect MIMP. I agree that the heads are probably a bit too small, but it's nothing earth-shattering for me.

I'm not a big fan either of SDBBs or Killer Koala, so this figure would probably be one of my least favorite figures in the tournament.

It's an easy decision for me: Great Beast!

I'm not sure how, but i don't think i've ever seen that SD Killer Koala before. He's actually pretty cool, much better than most of the others in the line.

Still though, the Great Beast is definitely one of my favorite series 1 MIMP figures. I think it may have also been the last one i tracked down for my collection, so the anticipation there definitely built him up a lot in my eyes. ;) I like how the hands are out to the sides and the feet are separate, giving him a defining silhouette where a lot of MIMPs are amorphous blobs until you get up close. My favorite thing about the figure is how that one head is separate from all the rest. It strikes me as an interesting design choice for a series 1 MIMP, which on the whole tend to be pretty basic and straightforward.

I voted for the Great Beast, he is easily one of my favourite mimp's and after getting him in both neon purple and neon green this week losing my job doesnt seem to bother me as much.
Any multiheaded figure gets my vote unless its a cool looking mecha.

Great Beast. It doesn't match the description in Revelation at all (and has a very weird tail. What's up with that/), but it is an awesome monster, and was one of my favorites in Series 1.

yeah right. my favorite mimp sculpt going up against a koala? this is like bambi versus godzilla. scumdogg's right. one of the coolest things about the great beast is that he's not symmetrical. i think that may be why so many people don't like hydra. it can look more like a reptilic peacock than a nine-headed dragon.

The great beast is....wait for it....wait for it...... ;)

Great.

He got my vote. I actually cant see anything negative that stands out AND its a bible based creation (or at least an interpretation of a metaphor).
