The question for this tournament is, "Which is the overall better figure?"

Note: This tournament features many different types of figures, please consider the entirety of a figure (sculpt, detailing, materials, originality, etc.) when voting. Additionally we ask for understanding with the lack of consistent pictures. Do not dismiss a figure because of a poor picture. Please feel free to post a better picture of the figure you selected.

I've defended the GPK's, but I can't do it for this one. This figure sucks.

The MIMP isn't great, but it's ok. It's easily better than the GPK. If nothing else, it's a pretty unique take on the simple skeleton. My vote is for the MIMP.

I really like the MIMP skeleton. They really did a good job at not making it goofy like some of the mimp sculpts. There is something tragic about the whole thing. Where is his missing leg, and what is he doing with someone elses skull? I think it is very creative the way the designers allow him to stand by using the skull he is holding as a crutch. Yeah overall i think this is a good example of a good MIMP sculpt.

I kinda like the GPKs legs and detail on his dungarees, but i have said it before, these sculpts do not do justice to the collectible cards. The cards were great because of their rich colours and superb detail which is something lost here.

This is one of my least favorite Mimp sculpts, that said I don't feel like the GPK sculpt is that great either, I'm going to think on this one awhile longer.

I think this figure is the worst culprit. With the other GPK figures I feel like there's still the core connection – not the case here. I also think it's a pretty weak idea too. The other GPK figures have much more identifiable characteristics and features. This figure has the appeal of a Tendonitis Ted.

I'm actually voting for the GPK figure this time, if for no other reason than the skeleton being my least favorite MIMP from the monochrome series. If i was just seeing the picture it might be different, but it's just a terrible figure in person, in my opinion.

I HATE the skeleton.

I also own both, or have in the past. The GPK really is more like a zombie if you don't know about the card series. I beleive it has a higher playfactor to it for that reason-- even as a kid, I didn't play with the skeleton-- he had no leg!

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

Really?! I've had quite a few MIMP's pass through my hands and I thought it really was one of their better ones. The only knock I can think of is that it felt a bit delicate, like a kid could accidentally rip or tear it – maybe.

The skeleton is great, and strangely one of the few series 1 5 pointers that I never got when it was available. They did a good conversion of it in the NES game, too.

Yeah, that's kind of my problem with it i guess. I like a durable LRG, something with some substance. I'm not a big fan of the thinner Kinnikuman figures either. Also it is just a skeleton, which in my opinion is a lot more boring than most of the other MIMPs.

I mean, "Look out, it's a Banshee!" or "Oh no, Baba Yaga is after us!" Yeah, that's cool. I can get into that. But honestly, how's this guy going to get you? Skeleton Power?

Theorgg's take on the GPK is pretty cool... I never thought about it that way before.

But for whatever reason, I just don't like these Cheap Toys figures. Maybe it's the fact that they're so small and seem unsubstantial. Or maybe it's because part of the appeal of GPK cards is in the background, which puts the character in a context that the GPK figures lack.

But a skeleton figure always seems cool to me. And the bonus skull that he's leaning on is pretty cool too. I go with the skeleton!

Just wait until he tosses that skull full pelt at your head and renders you unconcious - you wake up missing a leg, and he is out on the town, dancing and jigging with bits of your anatomy!!

i'd like a third party candidate. i refuse to vote for either. don't want the taint of their suck on my hands. honestly, the only fun i'd have playing with either figure would be burning them with a magnifying glass or melting them with army men.
