Hmmm... "short & creepy" seems to work well for the BEB line. What was the other figure that was also short and creepy? Omletto ?

Anyway...its an effective sculpt. It strikes me as a cross between a troll and the Battle Beast white 'gator.

The other sculpt isnt bad...it just doesnt move me.

Raw Eggster has a cool look about him. On first glance he looks like some sort of cross between some sort of reptile and a dog. On closer inspection i can't help thinking he has got some toad in him as well. He seems a much more solid figure than the GPK. I will be kinda glad when the GPKs are voted out as i don't like voting against them as i like the idea, but they just never seem to have the edge on the other sculpts.

Messie Tessie was my very first Garbage Pail Kid back in the day. So I have an affinity to this figure. But part of the reason why I like the card is the fun colors, specifically, the green snot. This figure has less detail and fewer colors, so for me the figure is much less interesting than the card.

My vote went to Raw Eggster. If Bad Eggz Bunch was easier to find, I would definitely start collecting them. I love the sculpts and character designs.

This wasn't an easy vote for me, here's why.

While I like the look of this Bad Eggz Bunch figure, to me he feels an awful lot like this guy:
Bad Eggz Bunch – Beater Beast

But is that a bad thing? Beater Beast probably would have beat any other figure but he was pitted against a Mega Man Mech. Raw Eggster really has a lot going for him.

So why is it a hard choice? Because a booger figure is hard to beat. For a kid, there are simply not going to be a lot of booger toys. And for this one to be a girl makes it even more unique. While the sculpt is ok to good, the idea is fantastic and it easily carries over to the figure.

So who do I choose?

Honestly, this decision was made by looking at the next round. If the next match-up had been a cake walk my vote would have gone to Leaky Lindsay. Unfortunately, the winner of this faces Crush Crawfish and only Raw Eggster would have a chance of beating him.

My vote is for Raw Eggster.

You make some very good points ...especially regarding the Beater Beast figure. Id forgotten about that figure and had i recalled Beater Beast i might have voted GPK if only because Raw Eggster now seems some what unoriginal. Beater Beast is actually a nice sculpt.

Ah well...blame Rockman.
