The question for this tournament is, "Which is the overall better figure?"

Note: This tournament features many different types of figures, please consider the entirety of a figure (sculpt, detailing, materials, originality, etc.) when voting. Additionally we ask for understanding with the lack of consistent pictures. Do not dismiss a figure because of a poor picture. Please feel free to post a better picture of the figure you selected.

The big yellow pecker is just too cool. At least as long as you don't see the actual coloration of the figure in Ultraman.

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

Now we are getting somewhere!!

Both these figures are pretty cool in my book. I voted for Varduck here in this round - he may not have the most detail and he may look somewhat cheaper. I just like the crazy look in his eyes. His eyes look fairly normal, human like and this makes him all the more disturbing with the juxtaposition between his ordinary eyes and his freaky face and body. I would love to carry this little guy around in my pocket - in fact i would love to have a set of these canful of monsters.... er Marty? You got a minute?? :p

Sigma, for sure. That armor is just too cool.

And it gets harder. I went with Varduck Seijin. Sigma is cool and has detailed armor, but there is just something about Varduck Seijin that makes me rather have him on my shelf to pull down a fiddle with.

I said it before, I'll say it again - Varduck Seijinis is interesting, fun, and unique. Granted Sigma is a pretty cool figure too but, for me, it doesn't have nearly the same fun and uniqueness.

I also see Varduck having a greater appeal for a greater number of reasons. Boys and girls, collectors and non-collectors could all be interested in this figure. Varduck almost has a Rorschach quality to it – what do you see? Giant chicken, friendly alien, rejected Muppet?

My vote is for Varduck Seijinis.

Sigma. Varduck is cool sure, but I could see myself holing on to him for only a little while before I decided to chuk him into the trading pile. Sigma I'd hold onto a lot longer, due to the great detail, size, and the fact that he is from the Megaman universe. I am a Mega fan first.

If I could buy only one, it would the Megaman figure. Sorry, not a big fan of the Ultraman type figures.

Varduck.

-Sigma does not look sufficiently like his in-game form.

-Sigma's limbs and arm cannons are oddly-posed.

-Sigma is basically just a guy in a robo suit.

-Varduck is more creative!

hmmm. i really like both figures for completely different reasons.

varduck is just so freaking strange, like big birds inbred acid casuality cousin. that works for me.

sigma has awesome detail and i'm really drawn to the breastplate and the way it looks like a mean face. i dont like the puny head sticking out of the top tho.

hmm, not sure yet. will think about it a bit and vote later.

Sigma is a nice meaty figure. He is nicely detailed as well. But at the end of the day, he's just a guy with four arms.

And he's certainly no Varchicken Seijinis!

Trust me, I pull down fiddles with my Varduck figure all the time. He can pull down banjos as well. :)

I just...cant...look away....

*Inconsistency Alert*

Generally speaking im more interested in a figures play value , not its perceived artistic value that is subjective. Armor, weapons, stance/pose...ACTION. Sigma has all of these qualities and he does embody action. But thats the problem..the 2 extra arms that he boast make him a bit TO busy in my opinion. It isnt much of a detraction from the figures overall impressiveness but when compared to bright yellow, mesmerizing , hypnotic stare of the owl beast its enough to lose my vote. Id rather own Sigma. Id rather play with Sigma. ID keep Sigma if i had to choose between the 2. But....

that stare. That damn stare.

Varduck willlose eventually as i cant see voting for him over some of the other MM sculpts . Hell he may lose here. But Varduck gets my vote again.

That figure is evil . Pure evil.

I went sigma , because he could kill seijinis just with his glare , he wouldn't even have to use his weapons.

and from a collectors point of view , even it sigma only appealed to males for collecting they would still be far more popular in sale numbers.

Very true - my first glance revealed an obscure Eastern God. Like a rejected Hindu demon or something.
