The question for this tournament is, "Which is the overall better figure?"

Note: This tournament features many different types of figures, please consider the entirety of a figure (sculpt, detailing, materials, originality, etc.) when voting. Additionally we ask for understanding with the lack of consistent pictures. Do not dismiss a figure because of a poor picture. Please feel free to post a better picture of the figure you selected.

I voted for T-Rex more of a party line vote, I love Mimp and have no love for SDBB, so even though its just an alright sculpt I choo choo choose T-Rex

Neither figure really grabs me, but I went with the bull. Looks like it will be a close one!

I'm not sure how either of these two made it past the first round, but when in doubt vote for a dinosaur!

I didn't vote for either of these figures. I think both of their first round opponents should be here. That would have been a pretty good match-up – or, at least, better than this. :D

But between these pieces of turd, the T-Rex is the better toy and that's enough to make me vote for him.

I dunno. Muggin' Megan vs. Janitax? That would be a real toss-up for an alternate round.

I'll cointoss on this one later, unless I think it over and really change my mind. Neither one is all that.

This isn't a complaint, because i didn't nominate anything and therefore i can't justify a complaint...

But the "both their opponents should be here" made me go back and review some of the previous matchups, and there are a LOT of horrible figures in this contest.

Next time we do one of these, i need to get in on the nominations.

I was kinda thinking the same thing once I realized we'd reached the last vote for Rount 1, and I know I did include some suggestions before the contest, all ignored unless you count Gormiti. Even with some of the lines included, some rather bad specimens were chosen along with the good stuff.

I could also really, really go for, even be willing to run, a Gormiti tourney, but that's a discussion for another time.

I decided that, since the Bison doesn't actually offend me as fan of LRGs and a potential paleontologist-to-be, that he'd get my vote. It's hilarious if he kept going so far due exclusively to the sheer apathy felt for his opponents!

I understand you guys aren't bee-eye-itching, but c'mon.

As I said, we thought there would be 8 groupings (each with 8 figures) and we had six from the start:
  • Gormiti
  • Fistful of Power
  • MIMP
  • Army Ants
  • Ultimate Muscle Micro Muscle Wresters
  • BB Super Deformed
GPK's and just random figures made up the other two groups.

lhssenior posted pictures and most of those made it in. Koppenschevelle also posted pictures and most of his were used too. Then all the mods looked at all the figures we had for the tournament, looked at the match-ups, and agreed that everything was ok.

I welcome anyone on the board to create and manage a tournament for the board.

I'll need to go back and look at the lines represented, but the fact that FOP was originally planned but never represented makes me wonder what exactly we gained. Megaman, sounds like.

Also, I demand the names of those that thought Janitax needed to be in this contest more than Plutor or the other more interesting (read: non-sucky) TBBs. I have my personal reasons. :D

I can't belive this one is this close. :D

I voted in the last round for a dude with T-Rex arms..........but i can't vote for an all around T-Rex that looks like that.
SDBB gets my vote this round only because that other guy sucks. ;)

Cannot stand T-Rex Grrrrr!! Not a huge fan of the SD BBs however i would much rather have the bison. He has a mean looking face and he has horns which is always kind of neat. What i like about this SD is his left hand, the little pincer thing is actually pretty cool, i will stop mentioning the crappy bodies.

T-Rex is just awful, his lips, his shape of his head, his stupidly nothing like T-rex arms. Get rid of 'im!!

That would be awesome, and there are definately enough sculpts... Anyone who can should add pics to the Gormiti checklist/price guide section under the gormiti section, making sure to the follow the guidelines about the pictures e.g. white background etc etc. In fact i am firing up the battery on my camera as i type this and will add uk series two to the guide. I am still missing the magic egg figures though, but maybe Malkovich can take a few pics of these?

My only beef is that the MIMP group, has no where near the sculpts I would think MIMP fans would pick, for example T-Rex. We can''t really help is none of the SDBB or Ultimate Muscle sculpts are any good. And thanks again Veers.

P.s. MIMP also could have its own tournament someday so I'm not losing to much sleep over it.

MIMP and Gormiti could both have their own tournamkents - they wouldn't even have to be official. In fact, they should! MIMP is missing a lot of genuinely awesome figures, and so is Gormiti. no Final Evolution Grandalbero? That piece would blow away most of the tournament right there.

I was really trying not to be negative, i do very much appreciate and enjoy these contests. I think you do a fantastic job running them. I'm just saying there are a disproportionate number of matchups where the majority of the comments start with "I don't like either of these figures, so..."

I wish i had a good enough camera to submit pics, i'd totally be willing to participate.

Divide & conquer works because of attachments people make to push-button issues, individual "leaders," parties, clans, tribes, policies, or agendas, leaving them open to manipulation.
