The question for this tournament is, "Which is the overall better figure?"

Note: This tournament features many different types of figures, please consider the entirety of a figure (sculpt, detailing, materials, originality, etc.) when voting. Additionally we ask for understanding with the lack of consistent pictures. Do not dismiss a figure because of a poor picture. Please feel free to post a better picture of the figure you selected.

The skeleton wins. Even though it's a tiny, thin sculpt, it's more creative than the surprisingly blah Checkmate. Very few UM sculpts really do anything for me.

Checkmate easily! Not to disagree with my dear Friend Rid above, but I think Checkmate is way more creative than this tiny skinny ugly skeleton. :D The skeleton has been done to death....pardon the pun. :) Checkmate is a nice sculpts with a decent paint job, and very original character.

the skeleton looks wacky, unoriginal and a bit weird. i went with checkmate, a little bit more interesting and original IMO.

I went with Checkmate. Not too impressed with the MIMP figure. However, if it was the painted one by L.Designs....

i would feel better about voting for checkmate if it was the damned flesh color and not the painted sculpt. i like most of the ultimate muscle line but the painted versions are terrible. when you look at the non-painted sculpt next to the painted it's heartbreaking all the character that is lost under those thick coats of paint.

all that aside, i just don't like the skeleton sculpt any better. i can't think of a better way to represent a skeleton than this but in terms of fun factor it's really lacking. i would pick checkmate to play with before the skeleton, but he'd be the first figure i killed prolly.

I am surprised how close this one is considering how gay the skeleton is and how awesome Checkmate is.

I was very surprised to see the Skeleton figure because i actually own it !
i obtained it when i purchased a large lot of muscles that had other figures mixed in with them.

And it's sweet!

The pic doesn't do it justice , the sculpt has allot of details and it has an original look to it , how many other Skeletons do you know that have lost a leg and have taken it upon themselves to seal someone's Skull for a walking apparatus?

Those of you that have voted for Checkmate are wrong ! , wrong ! wrong !

I actually like the skeleton sculpt some what....

as custom fodder.

Ill keep my eye out for it.
