Each morning I'll try and list a new game. The board will be given ~24 hours to vote for the winner.

The question for this tournament is, "Which is the overall better figure?"

Note: This tournament features many different types of figures, please consider the entirety of a figure (sculpt, detailing, materials, originality, etc.) when voting. Additionally we ask for understanding with the lack of consistent pictures. Do not dismiss a figure because of a poor picture. Please feel free to post a better picture of the figure you selected.

Gamorrean Guard will wipe the silly grin from Bumblebee's face.

I was all "ooh, Bumblebee!" until i scrolled down a bit. It's sad that the Gamorrean guard's arms have to be welded to his sides like that, but articulation aside there's no arguing with a sculpt that awesome.

Scumdogg, your thought's are basically in line with me, but there's one big difference – Bumblebee is more fun. The Guard is a good collector figure, but I think Bumblebee is the better toy - making him the better overall figure in my book.

EDIT - Looks like I wasted my vote.

Don't get me wrong, I like Transformers, but Bumblebee is hardly in my top favorites. While I simply adore the Gamorreans.

However the G's sculpt looks a little slack. I dunno, it just looks like a custom sculpt job to me. :D I don't know if it's an earlier figure from the line, but if so it's apparent Hasbro wasn't sure which way they were exactly going with the line at the time.

I'm voting Bumblebee. He looks to have a cleaner sculpt, and a fun appearance. If the Guard was more Cutesy I think it would have been alot better.

Galactic Heroes kind of went in the reverse of this. Back before they were even *called* Galactic Heroes everything was very stylistically similar and there were only a handful of playsets (like four? five?). Then later in true Star Wars fashion they figured they could sell everyone with two frames of screentime. And when they got to figures like the Gamorrean Guard it's like they just didn't know how to make some of them work right. So a small handful of them are basically just statues like this one, and some don't really fit the same artistic direction as the rest of the line.

I do still really like this figure on its own merits though.

This is why I think this tournament will be tough sometimes. I'm not a fan of either of these sculpts so I just voted for Gamorrean Guard becasue I don't like BumbleBee. I tried looking at the sculpts but some rounds just don't pop for me. I guess its no diffrent than voting for a toyline (not a sculpt) if I thought both figs. were duds in the last one.

I just wonder if Bumblebee is the better sculpt but he annoyed me in the movie and has a stupid Jay Leno look to his face plate so I automaticly voted for the other guy.

Not a big fan of either but the obvious difference to me is the playability of these poses. Bumblebee is just hunched in, ready to leap into action while the Guard is daring you to punch him in the gut.

classic bumble bee, no thanks. didn't like him in the cartoon, as a toy or in the movie. i do love the pig barbarians from space. in spite of having a lame pose and the line itself doesn't really lend itself to poseability i still voted for pigs in space.

I voted this morning before leaving for school thinking I'd come home and be the only one who had voted for the guard, I am hapy to see that he is winning. I think this is the more playable sculpt by far. Cool weapon, big fist to lay the hammer, and better paint job IMO.

i don't know if you can say it has a better paint job. but it certainly has the more interesting. if you think about it, what did they leave off of bumblebee's paint app? nothing really, he's just a boring character to begin with. at least porkys is interesting.
