Each morning I'll try and list a new game. The board will be given ~24 hours to vote for the winner.

The question for this tournament is, "Which is the overall better figure?"

Note: This tournament features many different types of figures, please consider the entirety of a figure (sculpt, detailing, materials, originality, etc.) when voting. Additionally we ask for understanding with the lack of consistent pictures. Do not dismiss a figure because of a poor picture. Please feel free to post a better picture of the figure you selected.

This was a tough one. Neither are particularly cool. Professor X is at least somewhat distinctive because of the wheelchair. But he's still a pretty boring figure. If the wheels moved, it would be pretty cool, though.

Princess Leia is another rather boring figure. She has a blaster, at least, and she represents a classic vintage figure, so I went with her. Regardless, the winner of this round will be trounced in the next one.

I went with the Prof on this one. He could sit next to my Simpsons Stephen Hawkings figure on the shelf. Princess Leia just doesn't stand out enough for me.

Outside of the blaster, that Leia figure looks like something you'd find on the shelf of an old lady or a 4 year old girl. On the other hand, wheelchair accessories are awesome. This Professor X figure might not have the "crippled legs" action feature that the movie versions had, but he's still a unique figure and a great representation of the character.

I think this is a pretty interesting match-up. On the one hand you have an action figure in a wheelchair. While it is part of the character, it certainly isn't the most common action figure accessory/feature. However, the sculpt is boring: the suit, shoes, even the expression on the face is dull. This figure gets all of its points for uniqueness because he is in a wheelchair.

Leia is the other rare-type of action figure - the female. While the figure would probably be given to a little girl first, it still has decent playability for any kid with the blaster. They managed to give her a "smaller" blaster without it looking insignificant. There is also nice detailing on the dress. It seems to have decent paint applications too – although I'm sure that varies pretty greatly from figure to figure.

I find myself debating, "Do I give it to the wheelchair or the nice figure?"

I guess I ultimately go with Leia because this is about the overall better figure, and not which figure could be more inspirational to a child.

Bespin Leia was one of my first Star wars figs as a kid. However that only has a small merit on my vote.

I find the PX fig lame mostly due to the wheel chair. I'd have preffered his 90's hover chair more interesting cause it looks cooler, and they could have had a lazer on the arm of it maybe.

I love this Leia figure though. The expression and position of her arms are priceless. I bet they didn't even intend the whole gesture on purpose. But it looks like she just shot 20 troopers and then said

Just classic.

i didn't find anything special about either figure. the tiebreaker on this one came down to the stupid flower pattern on leia's outfit and that professor x could kill you with his thoughts. so xavier wins this round but unless he ends up going against a stinker in the next round he won't be around very long.

if i encounter the demons in hell, i will kill them all..
