Each morning I'll try and list a new game. The board will be given ~24 hours to vote for the winner.

The question for this tournament is, "Which is the overall better figure?"

Note: This tournament features many different types of figures, please consider the entirety of a figure (sculpt, detailing, materials, originality, etc.) when voting. Additionally we ask for understanding with the lack of consistent pictures. Do not dismiss a figure because of a poor picture. Please feel free to post a better picture of the figure you selected.

I don't know, there are many ewoks around, but this one just doesn't look too hot. He kind of reminds me of melting ice cream.

However Silver Surfer is actually Silver, and Surfing. Two important things about this character. :D He is in a fun pose that is playable as well I think. Hours of Zooming action with this guy are possible. :)

I thought the same thing. And you're probably right about the zooming factor too. I do see one main flaw, the painted eyes. I found that these types of figures lose their paint pretty easily when little kids are actually playing with them. I can see the Surfer's eyes being removed in about 8 hours of play – or less.

And while it has become cool to bash the Ewoks, it's undeniable that they connect with kids. Both girls and boys love little warrior teddy bears, I don't know that boys and girls universally love Silver Surfers.

So my vote goes with Logray. The Ewoks are already cute, so they're naturally going to thrive when they are forced to become cutesy.

The Silver Surfer has a nice pose , and wouldn't look out of place on a shelf with other collectables .

On the other hand the Ewok looks like a smashed up cane toad when you have run over one after a trip up north.

Does Silver Surfer look that rad in real life?

I went with Surfer anyway because while I like ewoks this seemed like a cuteness overload.

But isn't that the point of these figures? They're cute for toddlers/preschoolers.

In all honesty, i don't really think it is. Back when they were cheaper and sold under the Playskool banner, yeah. But they're on par with other action figure lines now, price-wise, they've got huge expensive playsets and multi-packs, and they're sold right beside the regular action figures.

They're supposed to be cute for sure, but when a line contains characters like Dengar, General Veers, Blade, and Red Skull, i think it's safe to say they've moved past the kiddie market.

No doubt, the line caters to collectors too. But it sure seems that the target is still squarely on kids. Look at what hits the shelves, it's always the core heroes with the background characters sprinkled in for collectors.

And with those "packs" they release, it's often the main characters with one collector focused figure thrown in. Plus the packs usually hit the $20 price point, which research has always shown to be the mothers' price point for gifts. So there is stuff for collectors, but it is still geared towards younger kids.

Sure but the first toys I remember having were Tonkas, tractors, and Masters of the Universe. With I'd assume the Masters of the Universe being the first toys I picked myself. Normally I don't knock the sculpts for being cute, Silver Surfer is cute, but Logray hurts my brain. Me no vote for brain hurt ewok.

hmmmm... cannibalistic care bear or way cool silver surfer that looks like tons of fun to play with. as much as i don't like the character, and as much as i like being a cannibal myself, i still had to go with the surfer. just a better figure.

also, i think he'd be cool with the eyes rubbed off too.

Although Ewoks are my favorite Star Wars characters, the Silver Surfer is just a better figure. I do not like 90% of the Super Hero Squad Figures but I wouldnt mind owning a Silver Surfer.
