Each morning I'll try and list a new game. The board will be given ~24 hours to vote for the winner.

The question for this tournament is, "Which is the overall better figure?"

Note: This tournament features many different types of figures, please consider the entirety of a figure (sculpt, detailing, materials, originality, etc.) when voting. Additionally we ask for understanding with the lack of consistent pictures. Do not dismiss a figure because of a poor picture. Please feel free to post a better picture of the figure you selected.

For as much detail is in that Gamorrean Guard, I picked Surfer for the opposite reason. I picture Surfer as this streak of...well Silver and that is what that picture of the toy delivers. Very cool.

I went with the Guard, his detail is awesome and his size is impressive too, he towers over the average sized mini hero and weaighs like twice as much. Silver surfer is cool too though. I own and enjoy both figures so I wont be hurt who wins this round.

I didn't vote for either of these guys, but this is an easy choice for me. The Gamorrean Guard easily gets my vote. It can be both a toy and collectible, the Surfer barely serves as a toy. :ulp:

My vote went to the Surfer. I like both of these figures, but in the end had to go with character preference and the fact that i'm a sucker for chrome.

This was a fun little match up-both are good, well sculpted and accurate figures. However the Gamorrean Guard has a lot of detailing whereas the Surfer has very little to him-just the way it should be. Overall though I chose detail over simplicity, and went with the Gamorrean Guard.

I voted for Silver Surfer. I'm not sure how he barely qualifies as a toy, but I think he's fun and doing just what a toy of the Surfer should be able to do - surf, not have his weapon ineffectually held to the side. That's not a dig at the Guard, mind, just some of the GHs I've seen in this tourney. That chromed finish is also brilliant and perfect for the Surfer.

surfer for the tie. =] i'm not a huge fan of chrome but he just does it for me with the pose. GG is nicely sculpted but the pose is over done and boring.
