Each morning I'll try and list a new game. The board will be given ~24 hours to vote for the winner.

The question for this tournament is, "Which is the overall better figure?"

Note: This tournament features many different types of figures, please consider the entirety of a figure (sculpt, detailing, materials, originality, etc.) when voting. Additionally we ask for understanding with the lack of consistent pictures. Do not dismiss a figure because of a poor picture. Please feel free to post a better picture of the figure you selected.

Snake Eyes is fine, but I hate that Silver Surfer figure – viscerally hate that figure.

My vote is for Snake Eyes.

I voted for Silver Surfer. The more i see this Snake Eyes figure, the more that giant ridiculous sword wrecks it for me. The retail version would've gotten my vote far more often.

The Surfer on the other hand, is a perfect representation, and a figure i wish i had.

I prefer surfer. I've honestly never really bought into the "Snake Eyes is cool" shtick. So I'm not really keen on this figure, and am not really sure if I've voted for it yet. I just really don't like the stance he is in at all I mean if he is gonna shoot you he doesn't need the sword.

I really don't understand the hatred for the Silver Surfer figure. Could somebody elaborate? I mean, it's a perfect representation of an awesome character, and everyone likes chrome toys right? What's not to love?

I have no hatred for this figure. I actually own this silver sufer, however mine is not shiny like this, it is more gray/silverish. Same pose though so I am guessing this is a special version. The Snake eyes figure is just cooler imo, hes got a gun and a sword and I just like the pose a lot. I don't own any GI Joe toes, not even these minis, so its nto like I'm jumping on some Snake Eyes bandwagon, I just think its the cooler figure.

If I went for character I would have went Snake Eyes. I didn't I went with what toy I liked best and I went Surfer. Nice pose, nice stoic expression, very shiny.

if it came down to it, i would rather play with snake eyes. i'm still not a fan of the surfer. i do like this sculpt for him. i think it's misplaced though and belongs in a tech deck blister pack. snake eyes fits more into the whole "war" i usually play with my toys.

Well I know I had a couple Snake Eyes figures when I was a kid, and I also had a Silver Surfer figure as well. Needless to say I can't recall playing with Snake Eyes much. Most of my favorites had beards or helmets. I did however play with the surfer quite a bit though.

It's the lame face and gloopy hands. For some characters, they translate well. Not on Surfer. I am sure that the fact that I really don't care for the character adds to my dislike as well. :spiteful:
