Each morning I'll try and list a new game. The board will be given ~24 hours to vote for the winner.

The question for this tournament is, "Which is the overall better figure?"

Note: This tournament features many different types of figures, please consider the entirety of a figure (sculpt, detailing, materials, originality, etc.) when voting. Additionally we ask for understanding with the lack of consistent pictures. Do not dismiss a figure because of a poor picture. Please feel free to post a better picture of the figure you selected.

Well it's hardly fair to have to choose here.

If i have to pick one though, i think i'll go with Soundwave.

I think this is one of the hardest, if not the hardest decision, of the tournament. Both of these are awesome figures. My vote goes to Soundwave for two reasons: (1) Rumble is too big – it'd be great if he was even a little bit smaller than the normal figures, like R2-D2; and (2) Soundwave is just such an awesome character design.

He's such a cool character, with a nice blend of colors, and his design (today) even inspires some nostalgic days of tape players and boom boxes. The toy designer would have to go out of his way to screw it up.

Isn't a vote for Soundwave really a vote for Rumble?

It's almost like there were two democrats running for president.

I love that the final four in this tournament are going to come down to an Autobot, a Decepticon, a Joe, and a Cobra, and some of the most iconic characters in their respective groups no less!

I voted for Rumble, but really, I love both figures enough that I might as well have tossed a coin to decide.

I'm really having a hard time deciding. Both are so great. I honestly want one of these to win the tourney, cause I really don't care much for the Joe Sculpts. So I guess If I want 1 to win I have to vote for the one that I think will win the whole shabang. ......AHHH!!!

hard choice. both are mega awesome. this is where you pretty much have to vote on character. the only flaws here are that soundwave's chest piece doesn't open up for cassette ejections and that rumble is the same size as his larger partner in crime. i voted for soundwave only because rumble should have been smaller. and i think that fact would only hurt him in this particular match up. if rumble were to go up against grimlock i think he'd fare far better.

if i encounter the demons in hell, i will kill them all..
