Wow, thanks guys! The Ventriloquist is much more popular than I thought he would be.

While the first 10 Gyu-Domes will be given out on Nama Niku via my promotional contest, a few peeps have sent PMs and Tweets expressing interest in buying one...

When the contest is done, I may consider doing Gyu-Dome in a second color wave... PM me or post if you would be interested in buying that figure.

Gyu-Dome did not get any votes in the keshi contest, so I thought he was a bust Most of the props I have gotten on him have been from my Japanese Twitter and FB followers who rather appreciate the Gyudon nod to the Kinnikuman series...

So HUGE news for me and Muscle Things on the custom keshi front....

I was contacted by the fine folks of コンプREX earlier this week letting me know that they wanted to do a small piece on The Meat Grinder in the next issue of コンプREX/Complex Magazine. The issue will be all about Kinkeshi and my Namakeshi are getting a shout out! Just sent my personal figure and packaging so they can get started on the photos....

Funny thing is they were planning on doing a section on bootlegs and customs, and saw me tweeting away about my Namakeshi...

They love the idea that a gaijin was coming up with new Kinnikuman inspired keshi for a Kinnikuman blog. No more specific details, but said they would be reaching out to me again soon.

The issue should be out sometimes later this year I was told.

I am also going to send them some of my other figures that will not get me in trouble for copyright infringement (Half Baked Ham, Trichinosis and Gyu-Dome... when they are actually done getting cast if it is not too late ...

While the ventriloquist is crazy cool, I did not do any sculpting or change the original figures enough to be considered (their words).

I will be ordering a bulk number of the issue when the time comes if anyone is interested.

I was wondering if anyone would get their hands on some of these figures for me? I am loyal to LRG and am not a member of a billion forums and blogs. But I want the figures without joining/creating a bunch of accounts. Tyler can you help me out?

The only one available from another forum is the Meat Grinder, but Muscle Things is selling that one, so you need to contact him.

As far as the ones that will only be available on my blog go, the whole point is to get people to check out Nama Niku for the details (whenever they are posted). People who support Nama Niku will have a chance to pick up the figures but there is no guarantee. There is no other way.

Checked it out and I dont have a google, yahoo or twitter account. Is that how you are supposed to sign up? I have facebook. I actually dont understand the function of it either. Is it for you to sell stuff? I seen a bunch of people from denmark or something on the beach. How do you work the Nama Niku? It looks like I wont be getting any of those figures Glad I got a ventriloquist at least
