So here is the ongoing collection I started up for my Wife. Shes a big fan of Crows in general. This is the display I built her for her office. Alot of you helped in the last few years to gather these up. I have mastered Crow restoration. I bet you can't find the three you sent me sherrie that had those burns etc
Attached File  collection.jpg   98.17K   77 downloads
But I was upstairs checking out this thread or one like it and there was some crazy noise and then this happened
Attached File  Onscreen.jpg   109.45K   101 downloads
Its Ok though cause this isn't an army. This isn't a gang. Its a Bloody Murder!
Attached File  Murder.jpg   109.76K   85 downloads

We're always passively looking for for more crows and more hooks. I would like to get her one of the Trading Cards for the Crow. I always miss them or am broke when they come around. Also if you got a hook and need one of the series 3 weapons in the Pics we probably can make a trade.

Hey guys is this the right place to put a photo of my greek army or is this for army of the same beast?

Its the right place for every army or masterset so please share your colorfull Greek Army with us.

LOL @OmegaTraf looks like your Crows are real killers definitely another army my Penguins should be aware off.

BUT Killing of Snakes is unacceptable for my Penguin army which is fighting for a better world and justice;
Attached File  PPA Investigation Snake Killing.JPG   317.28K   32 downloads
3 Of the Crow killers were arrested by the PPA and Investigation Snake Killing started.

But I also see an option to help each other out since it looks like one of your Crow's is owning a Penguin weapon........ I'll PM you.
Of course this is a trick to be able to bring the remaining fugitive Crows to justice. :)

So, finally amassed enough of these Porcupines to put together a tough armyPosted Image Grand total standing at 21 + two Greeks. Able to score 5 variants with the unpainted sideburn armor(all dark yellow)...1 Dark Yellow with painted sideburns and the rest bright yellow. Only 6 weapons collected so far, going to be a challenge, can be tough to come by. Thanks for any and all help so far from board members, so far, here are some pics. Able to take some better pictures, with proper resize. Always more pics to come. enjoy.

I haven't added more regular snakes to my army over the past couple months. But I did add one of Ericnilla's Gumball Cobras, as well as two new Greek Snakes. I now have three greek snakes in the army, a light green, a black and a metallic blue.

Its been a while........... any updates concerning the army's being built!?

Personally I've a new lot of PPA Soldiers waiting in one of the most thoughest training camps within the US located in the PA area so they've even been dealing with Sandy the past days. Its a matter of time before they will start their trip to the EU to join the PPA forces out here and to strengthen the army. If they do the amount of Penguin soldiers will cross the 50 for the first time so that'll be worth some pics ;)

For now I'm looking forward to some pics of the other army's.

50 is really impressive for a series 3 army. Congrats. You must outright buy alot of them. I am going to get ready for another push for Crow trades. But Crows are not readily available for trade. :(

That is true. Series 1 & 2 are more plentiful for cheaper army building.

His army building has directly resulted in the increased value of the penguin.

Similar to how any army building of a single figure can affect the market.
More so for series 3 figures as their numbers really dictate how many 1-76 exist.

Yes but the penguin allways sold better and for more $ in the first place. I understand what your saying but the penguin has allways been a very populer figure and worth a fair bit because of it.

The Penguin has always been a rare figure especially complete as its the weapon that's the easiest to break from all of the BB / LB weapons out there. I've had a few that broke during shipping.....

All the single listed Penguins that have been sold the last period where all listed for very high prices and I doubt if anyone would've bought these as I've been paying prices up to $30 each for complete figs. So yes this project might have influenced some of the prices but as I've showed getting close to 50 penguins, which is a lot, they might not be that rare after all. Think the Penguin is nothing different than the Cobra of which we all know if a much wanted serie 3 figure as well. And I can easily pick a few more from the Serie 3 release of which the price can easily be influenced (Pig, Pointer) because they are already hard to find with their weapons. So I'm aware I might have been directly responsible for an increase of value on the Penguin but I think its clear I'm not trying to make any profit from them as I'm keeping them back here and if I ever have to let them go for any reason they will all fly out at once and I'm affraid nobody will be willing to pay the amount I've paid for them than so if they go they will flood the market again instantly resulting in a price drop because there's no way I'll be able to get $20 each if I start listing them all at once or even with a week in between out on Ebay. That might work for the first 3 or 4 maybe 5 but that's it.

The effect of some of the other armies out here might be less being serie 1 or 2 figures but in the end the idea behind it is the same its for fun building an army and there is definetely no way we're trying to harm the market on purpose but I can reject either its not having an effect on it. But I don't think its nothing worse as we're all doing the same thing with our high end LB stuff if we'd let it all go at once the price will drop immediately because nobody is looking to buy 10 King Busters. So in the end directly or indirectly we've all influence on the market.

So for my feeling I'm not doing anything wrong here although I know my army does influence the price, and as for now I'm the biggest victim of it as I'm the one having to pay the prices I've been responsible for.....

As far as I know no one has ever had a problem building a 1-76 set. Plenty to go around.

I see no harm in the market just causing a raise in value on certain Beasts because the army builder is increasing demand.

Heh as a causal collector finding a nice complete pengiun is rather difficult - I dont have time to trawl through ebay - I only actually search for the first few days of the month as my money soon disappears for family expenses. Also when I do buy I always buy from US sellers, european based sellers appear to be trying to force prices with many buy nows.
