Hmm, a blue BHS with plug still attached.

I noticed that the seller says they have limited knowledge but mention certain ones being non-poster and seem to have strategically placed the BHS.

Very interesting!

He has the BHS positioned perfectly on the top and then said he knows nothing about the toyline, yet the most desirable figure happened to land facing upwards in plain view when he tipped them out of the tub to take a photo.

So lame, seller claims " It was many years ago when he collected the toys, and doesn't know much about them, yet I'm almost positive that is a 29th anniversary re-release BHS, which came out just a couple of years ago Posted Image

Even if it isnt the chances of him getting an original kinkeshi without knowing it's one is highly unlikely

After inspecting this auction closely. I dont see anything good. There all common figures. Even the 29th reissue figures are as common as flesh muscle. I dont see any original kinkeshi either.

Somebody bit, huh?

I also spotted black marker writing on the bottom of some of their feet, so it's not like this lot is even in great condition.

I saw this auction when it first started. I asked him some questions and got no reply. I admit I was real tempted to buy it being a new collector. Somthing just seemed fishey to me. Like the fact that he wanted so much for it, and I Also thought the " not on poster " comment was a dead give away but I still was tempted. G.V gave me some great advise. Kept me from getting ripped off.

The seller is only out of the woods IF the buyer doesn't raise hell when the figs arrive.

The buyer can say anything he wants with a SNAD case.
And the buyer will win.
Then the buyer takes out the ones he wants or takes all of them and ships back a rock.
And by magic the screwee becomes the screwer.

You can see four flesh 29th anniversary figures in the top pictures along with the obvious 29th anniversary BHS.

The person that fell for this has realized their error, and is trying to recoup their loss with the same exact scam:

http://cgi.ebay.com/...E:X:RTQ:US:1123

Dear hegetroncorp,

Hi,
Could you send me close-up pictures, front and back, of the blue sunshine (brick guy) with the hole in his chest?

aaa im so sorry, id love to but the item is packed and ready to go! Its in the warehouse with a bunch of other stuff! what was your question about that figure and i will try to answer. thanks for your inquiry! Plus the Satan Cross and Claw are definitely in there. That was confirmed before the box was packed and ready for shipment. I tried to do as much research as possible before the listing was posted.
im at the office away from the place where those items are shipped from.

- hegetroncorp

Before I even messaged this guy the first time, I noticed in his feedback that he was the winner of a few M.U.S.C.L.E. auctions in the past, including the custom #189 auction from UofM a while back.
This is not a completely uninformed seller, by any means.

Original scam auction bid history.

Custom #189 bid history.

Dear hegetroncorp,

Based on your description, and looking at some of your past transactions, it is a pretty safe bet that you know enough about the toyline to know exactly what I am inquiring about.

The figure in question is likely a 29th Anniversary re-issue figure, and not an original M.U.S.C.L.E.
This, of course, could be determined without question by looking at the trademark on it's back, but since your high priced item is "packaged in the warehouse," I suppose someone will have to pay an exorbitant amount of money to find that out.

Good luck with that.

And there is my nomination for Asshole of the Week.

Can't believe the person originally paid $400+. Yes, I'll agree the seller knows what he has, but isn't the starting price reasonable? I'm not defending this guy's actions, just saying that with a SC, Claw, and a blue keshi BHS the current price is good.

Put a $40 value on SC and the blue BHS, and $5 for the claw. That brings the $150 to $105. $105/216 = Just about at $.49 per figure. Not too bad if it stays there. Yes, dumb seller, but the starting price isn't bad IMO.

And there is my nomination for Asshole of the Week.

Aside from everything else, our pal Mike (that's his name) should win it for saying this in the auction description:

A few guys have marks, can be cleaned. but there is a growing nostalgia for ones with writing, collectors like the fact that some kid in the 80's put initials on them. they were loved and played with.
