Its clear by now the Beast Saga is existing out of three Tribes;

Translation of the display. It is clear that these are a continuation of Battle Beasts on everything I have translated.

Three proud tribes of “Landâ€￾, “Seaâ€￾, and Air, now the series of beast battles begin…

For the Frog Fans;

Posted Image

Have to say he looks a little like the fairytale frog with his little crown, maybe Disney has some interest in this new release as well :)

Really liking this figure! It seems like the final figure will likely have the shoulder piece on both shoulders by the looks of the peg. Very cool.

Have you noticed that the cards seems to have some kind of feature if you look on the right of them. Wonder what it could be.

You mean the one with the arrow right!?

Since the text in that little box is similar within all the figures within the same tribe I assume it might be some detailled (general?) tribe information that can be found on the back of the card while the explicit detailled information on the fig is present at the bottom bar of the front of the card. At leas that's what I think of it at the moment :)

My favorites are all the SKY figures. Those birds are AWESOME! So glad the scale looks close to BBs.

WOOT!

I want to be sure to get every one!! Do you guys think these will mostly come blind boxed, or released in other waves, sets, etc??? I'm a little scared to order more than one case of 24 still.

Their actuall size will be 6,5 cm or 2.6 Inch, which makes them just a little bigger than the Battle Beasts but this might depend on individual figures.

Not sure what boxes or sets they come in beside the ones known and which most of you have pre-ordered.
But I don't see why they couldn't be released in the same style the BB and LB were released in their boxes with plastic so you'd be able to see the fig. Blind boxes for up to 100 figs is quite tricky for a release in my opinion.

I'm expecting a lot more of these to go up for preorder at some point, which means I'll have to scale back my initial order which contained multiples of everything! I also expect to see an air starter deck since we already have the land and sea ones. My biggest concern is that BBTS had the cases listed as land boosters. Does that mean there will be a blind box case for each tribe? God I hope not. That's a lot of cash!

Which is kind of a relief, because typically, air tribes/groupings typically get the shaft in the coolness department.
I.E., Gormiti...

All of the groups in Beast Saga, look like they can hold their own... Not a weak link, in the entire line, in my opinion.

Cool! A few new ones to add to the visual checklist!

I will try and update the checklist later today to see how many we got overall now! (I'm guessing 50 in total)

EDIT: ???????????????? for some reason my numbering of the last checklist was messed up...I seemed to skip straight from 30 - 40? Don't know why, must have been to excited about the new reveals!! Anyawy, there looks to be about 40 revealed so far :-

The newest pic (for now) form the TTS:

Posted Image

Which is one we've seen for most of the part but I just noticed something interesting in it.

First looking at the dices you see that most of them are solid or at least not transparent which is in conflict with my previous thoughts about the orb lightning idea........... If you look at the orange and blue ones you can see some which are transparent but looking at the total percentage of them amongst these they might be a 'special feature' within this dice idea!?

Second the card in the middle with the figs showing are numbered but I assume that the Lion figure as well as the Shark figure will be part of the lower numbers (first 10 maybe) but these cards are showing nrs. 29 / 30 for them and despite that they are showing the figs in just a monotone color which might point at a variant type of figure, maybe?

Looking at this seeing the numbers I wouldn't be surprised to see 30 figs or close to it released within the first serie in which figs from all the three tribes are equally devided amongst these. So far the highest card nr. found till now is 30 which is for the Lion.

Let's hope some more info will show up soon as this is the final day of the Tokyo Toy Show and after all the insane pics and info showing up the last days it might become quiet again for a while now.......

Most of these figures look a little too blocky to me...there are some nicer ones, but others just look like a blocky robotic suit with an animal head sticking out...

It looks like they really made some design compromises to accommodate that dice.

Any chances these will show up with a North American release? I'm wondering if the dice would present too much of a choking hazard?

robotic suit with an animal head sticking out ? Are you trying to describe Battle Beasts ? How else would you describe them ?

Ok seriously though, Are we able to switch the dices in their chest with different ones or are they just for the board game thingie?

I would describe battle beasts as anthropomorphic beasts with cybernetic armor implants. All the original battle beasts I can think of had lots of visible "beast" parts.

I see that less so here, primarily in the chest area, where they look like just big robotic suits overtop of the beast, rather than small armor add-ons to the beast. I'm talking about the deer or the hamster for example who look, to me, like they just slipped into a mech suit. Some of them, like the Marlin, I think look pretty good and manage to hide the blockiness, others, not so much.

Let's not digress too far with any silly criticisms or potential "haters". Don't rain on the parade! Most of us hard-core BB fans like the BS figs- sure, they are not quite as "perfect" and "timeless" as the originals, but they are the best thing since, IMHO. I'm gonna get them all if possible. It should be easier than getting my original complete 112+ and much less costly. Even 1-2K for a set of 100 is reasonable in comparison. I'm sure my BB/LB set could go for close to 8K now.

Let's just say, I'm happy enough to support this line 100%. A little bigger, a few goofy figs, a bit blocky, dice shooters and all.

I'm usually pretty critical of toylines being brought back or reinvented, but I love these things. I understand that not everyone is going to like them, but in my opinion this is the right way to bring back a classic toyline. They have something new and unique while at the same time maintaining a connection to the originals. I think its clear that Takara got it right by the overwhelming amount of support from a community that knows their stuff when it comes to Battle Beasts.

Agreed. For example, I am not that into Rise of the Beasts or the Mini Mates BB line- And I won't be posting my criticisms in those forums because I respect those who are excited about them. I like the official new spin Takara is putting out; it's like LBs with orbs and guns following BBs with rubs and spears.
