I say, take the purple claw off the extremely rare list.
153P isn't one of the most rare Class A figures but it is certainly one of (if not THE) most desirable and in demand figure in the line. I don't really think that it is debatable that "The Claw" is the most valuable and popular poster figure in the set. Just look at Flesh figures for a second. A typical Fleshie sells for between $0.50 and $1.00. A 153F typically sells for between $8.00 and $12.00. 153 is typically worth 10 times as much as a typical figure. The other A figures on the same "Part" and "Tree" as 153 in purple typically sell for between $40 - $75. Assuming that a 153 is worth ten times as much because of popularity it all comes out to $400 - $750.
I also think that we see more 153P because people actively look for it. If you do just a little bit of research about MUSCLE and what to look for in terms of valuable figures the two most obvious ones that people say are money are purple claw and Satan Cross. People actively look for those figures when they stumble across a lot of figures they are looking to sell.
153P is one of the most visible figures in MUSCLE collecting so it stands to reason that it would show up more often.
It certainly isn't one of the most rare of the A class figures but it also isn't one of the most common A figures either. I think it is smack in the middle.

Could you take a picture of that? I've never heard that (maybe I forgot?), I'd love to see that difference.

Bumps are flatter on the French repros. Loss of integrity with a new mold generation. It is probably a repro of a repro if you think about how he made a new factory mark.
