I had planned many months ago to try making a man-e-faces inspired muscle guy but i never got around to actually doing it. A few months later i was asked if i wanted to team up with TruTek for some art show thing and make a man-e-faces type figure. I jumped at the chance but as always i was trying to do 5 things at once. So i left myself with just a couple weeks to start and finish the sculpt. It was pretty painful but the more stuff i make the faster i get so i managed to just barely finish it in time.

It's about 3 inches tall so a little bigger then anything else i've done. I took pieces from my favorite he-man guys(mosquitor/hordak/man-e-faces/skeletor/trapjaw/ram-man)and added lots of my own touches. Always hated he-man legs so i went with something totally different.

The end product will have a spinning head ^_^

Badass figure!
Very cool and inspired, even without the head it has a 'drone' look, with the giant eye on his chest

Love it. Is this going to be a one-of-a-kind thing for the art show, or will they be for sale eventually? Awesome work, man.

Thanks guys!

Nano - I like how he looks headless too. I am hoping maybe other people will try their hand at making a head for him.

Iwao - There will be a handful for the show but hopefully by the end of next month there will be a bunch made and anyone who wants one can snag one. I always want stuff i make to be easily attainable for anyone here.

Thanks guys.

TruTek wanted some art for the back of the packaging and i have a nice set of prisma colored pencils so i came up with this last night and colored it this morning. The scan made it a little too light but i'm sure he can adjust it.

How much are they going to run?

Thanks!

I don't know what the price will be yet actually. Always depends on the amount of materials it takes and how hard/easy it is to mold/cast.

I mean, that is a pretty serious piece. With MAGNETS to join the body and neck?
For as big as that piece is, it wouldn't surprise me if it went for as much as Eric's Deka Claws. That is quite a piece.
