See I'm kinda on the fence on these. I'm usually not a fan of people of who create a kickstarter project without having a backing history. I still like to think kickstarter is a community and not just some place where people can go and ask for risk free money. I especially don't like that the sucklord of all people not having a backing history, there's no excuse for that. You're gonna tell me he didn't know OMFG had a kickstarter before, or that he knew, but thought the figures weren't worth his money.  He's got the same guy who sculpted at least 1 figure per series sculpting his mini figure line.

I'll have to mull this over some more before I commit on backing. I liked the figures since they were first revealed a few months back, but this whole no backer history thing leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I'm pretty sure Sucklord's legit.  He's been making customs/bootlegs/new customs for a while now, and is the ONLY guy making bootlegs whom George Gaspar said makes "Valid art" and isn't trying to be Mexico.

I'm not offended the guy is using kickstart.

Most of the stuff Morgan makes is so limited in numbers that the average guy can't get them or can't pay the prices being asked.

Kickstart seems like a reasonable way to get sucky sh!t to the masses.

Cool figs. Kinda bummed that he chose to make a toilet paper figure(asswipe), since I made one a while back and Muscle_Things casted em. Other than that. Cool. But Im not buying any.

..it's still hitting me.  This is so awesome.  I love the scale! I love the blue test sets (of which only 3 exist).  That blue is so muscley.  (which makes my official second favorite-next to flesh- color blue. muscley blue. like 50/50 era.  3rd favorite muscle color red. I'm a 50/50 muscle era freak from now on.

My favorite toy line is S.U.C.K.L.E.

June 17th Summer 2013 ~ great news!

Nothing is ever truly original though. There's a toilet roll minifigure in the Thingz (That Go Bump in the Night) line from the 90s, might be some other examples out there as well. I'm not knocking you having the idea, just saying it's been done before. Personally I'm not in for these. I'm not a Star Wars fan, whether I try to look at it as SF, fantasy or a family saga I just can't make it work for me. Plus I just don't get the appeal of the public persona that Sucklord puts out. There are moments of what I've seen of him on Toy Break where it's obvious he's a really switched on guy, just between the subject matter and him seeming to feel he needs to act like an ass to sell toys I really don't think I'm the intended market for these.

I'm sort of amused by his act.

I'm not sure how much is an act or if that is really just the way he is.

It's one that you don't see often.

I think I.d could pull it off tho.

Sucklord used to sell rolls of toilet paper that said "ass wipe" on them, I would bet the mini fig was born from that and not some random mini fig idea he had.

Yes, they were "exclusives" at the last Designer Con I ever went to. Had a big pack of cheap TP and was applying tissue and stickers to it.... laughing that people would be toting them around proudly later.

That's funny sh!t.

Just pledged 100 for a set of each color.

Anyone know if he's taking 1000.00 pledges for exclusive colors?

Right on, I had no idea about that line.. Its good though.. Im not to bent about it, I didn't invent toilet paper.. I also, dont understand his persona. But I applaud him for doing cool stuff with toys and shit  i'd love to be doing, but cant.He does make some rad stuff.

Sucklord used to sell rolls of toilet paper that said "ass wipe" on them, I would bet the mini fig was born from that and not some random mini fig idea he had.

Man if he made $$ on the idea of writing 'ass wipe' on tp and people bought it, then hes doing something right. You are probly 100% correct on where the idea came from.

And I have yours!

Sweet!

I like how there are 3 sucklord variants like muscle had all its muscleman variants.  George, you did an excellent job on all the sculpts.   They are just like m.u.s.c.l.e.s.  The scale, the poses, the details down to the muscley soles of their boots.  You really captured "that" feeling.

Cheers George and Suck  :drinks:
