Well, we’ve past the 12 week period so I can tell everyone now. My wife and I are expecting our first child in August and we couldn’t be happier! :confused:

What does this mean for you? Will I be nicer? Will I be more tolerant of the stupid kids on the boards? No.

But I do plan on selling huge pieces of my toy collection! From now until August I want to sell everything except my vintage SW, MUSCLE, and maybe just a few things I can’t part with. All of the money will go towards the baby’s room and baby stuff – plus banking a little to help while my wife is on maternity leave.

Thank you all, and congratulations to Rokk too!!

There won’t be any Star Wars names, mainly because my wife didn’t like my first three choices: Lobot, Bossk, and Ice Cream Maker Guy.

It’s crazy to think I’ll be a father. We don’t care if it’s a boy or girl – the only concern is that it’s healthy. But we are going to find out if it’s a boy or girl.

Maybe the hardest part is going to be the increase in the toy budget. :D

Just thought I'd share some good news with everyone. We went in today for the main ultrasound, and everything they could see looks good. And it looks like it will be a boy! :yahoo:

We really didn't care, we only wanted a healthy baby - but it's still pretty cool.
