I see the final released set of Beastformers has been listed on Ebay.
Does the collector community value these as highly as the seller ?

If I remember well last ones sold in Japan (yahoo auctions) for about $50. So my 2 cents is this ones are way too expensive.

They are fairly limited, there was a guy in Japan that put about 8 or so sets of all 9 on YJP a couple years back. The first few sold for $300 or so because no one had ever seen them before. He made the mistake of pumping them all out one set right after another so the final rounds sold for around $100 per fig, so definitely valuable and definitely in limited supply but I don't think he'll see a lot of people biting at $300, they were probably worth that for sure if the guy on YJP had only posted one or two sets of them, but 8 sets hitting the market in 2 months can kill the exclusivity of something really quick. I was fortunate to get outbid on the first few rounds so I scored mine for about $120-150 or so each I think after fees and shipping but there were definitely some that went even cheaper still.

I paid like $220 for my leapin lizard. The rest I paid about $150 or so as well. I must have missed this auction, do you have a link?

I offered 150 on the Harrier Hawk. The packaging looks best on it.

I like them but im to tied up at the moment to make fair offers on any of them.
I don't value them that high.
After all its only a packaging variation.
I would pay $60-$80 for them. Maybe more for the more popular figures.

yeah, thats why im glad im not a completest. Spending so much money on a $7 figure, because its in a different packaging is crazy. haha
But so goes collecting Beastformers, nothing is cheap.

I do prefer these cards to the boxes though.

And by judging the asking price you will be declined.

As far as we know, they are prototypes of the packaging only, same figures just new way to put them on the shelf. No one has ever been able to confirm that these were ever available in stores to my knowledge.

I wish someone knew how to speak Japanese and could contact the seller and somehow get him to join LRG. I know this guy has still got a load of stuff still. He still lists the regular BB all of the time. Can only wonder what else this guy stumbled on and has stashed in his garage

less then $150 each.

I would really only want to pay $50 each on them.

Paid $150 for the Carp today. I have my custom SD, Greek, clear, striped, MOC, color variant, so I had to get it. A little pricey, but cool piece.
