Posted 13 January 2014 - 09:31 AM

I recently came across some great new (at least new-ish) monster keshi/erasers being sold by a school supply company called Geddes. I did a Little Weirdos post on them the other day, but I thought I'd post here, too.

There's both "Mega" and "Mini" monster erasers. The large ones are about 2" tall and the mini ones are very tiny at 1/2" or below. The Mega ones come in four different sculpts while the Mini ones have 10 different sculpts. They both come in four neon colors.

Check them out:

I've got more pics and details in the blog post:

And here's the Geddes store links:

Mega: https://www.raymondg...CFeg-MgodpTAAYw

Mini: https://www.raymondg...11-E3E011492C2D

They're also selling some other minifigure erasers that I ordered but have yet to blog about.

There's ones called "Alien Robot erasers" which are kind of MUSCLE-esque:

And also "Martian erasers":

I'm a teacher so will be thumbing through our stationary supplier catalogue tomorrow to see if they stock these. Probably only in America though as usual ha!

Cool sculpts. The minis wouldn't be a bad idea for something to give out on Halloween.

Yep, they are made of eraser material. Not super soft like some of the Diener erasers, but a firmer eraser material. The large ones have some heft to them.

The Alien Robot erasers are patterned after Series 1 Gormiti.  I can see the lords of Earth, Water, and Air.

I was going to say, that elephant-looking one looks an awful lot like a blue squid-like gormiti figure I have (I don't know any of the figure names)

I also think it's funny that they're "Alien Robots" yet they're entirely organic with no robot-esque features at all :)

Cool find and great sculpts too!

Unfortunately the international shipping page seems down :(

As far as I understand, you have to get a US based address before making any order, life is never easy for us european collectors, oh well

I noticed the same thing. I'm in AUS and just put in an order for some of these earlier this evening, heres how I did it.

Just go to the Bongo International website and join for free, then they'll give you both US and EU addresses. These guys act as a proxy shipping service and reship the stuff out to you. Seems decent enough. It only cost me $7.95 to send them a heap of stuff.

Nice, I hadn't noticed that!

I am glad there's a way!

Color distribution was actually pretty good for the ones I ordered, so hopefully it will be the same for any of you guys going for these.

Also, you might be kind of surprised by how big the Mega ones are. I was expecting MIMP size, but they're actually larger. And as I mentioned the minis are REALLY mini. There is a size comparison pic with a few MIMPs in my blog post.

Though not Mono minis, these bendy monster figures are pretty cool too.

They're about as tall as a SLUG Zombie figure, which is perfect since one of the sculpts is a zombie.

Yeah, I got a bag of those too when I ordered and they are cool. I like how they used a MIMP-like neon red as one of the colors.

Too bad they only released 4 out of the 10 minifigs in 2-inch scale.
