[Universal Ruler Supreme]

You know what I was going to vote for Bombos because we have seen Transformers over and over again, and really Megastorm is if anything the very least at being new or original. Especially since he is just a copy of G2 Megs.

But I took another look at bombos. His paint apps are terrible! They are just sloppy and yucky! They don't blend well at all. So then I looked at the sculpt and thought that even without the paint apps he is really not that great of a sculpt. An original take on a used format (rock monster) but really not that grand.

On the other hand Megastorm looks great without any paint, and he looks like he would look great with paint if he had to be painted, though that's just speculation. He has some nice detailing as well, and the color and translucent plastic helps too. Though he isn't the greatest, and I don't think he will survive the next round, he gets my vote for now.

Soupie your right, I was sort of wrong in my ideas about the BEB figures. I really hadn't seen or paid much attention to the different figures released in that set, and just from that catalog scan I can see that there are indeed great figures in this line. I guess I sort of took my impression from the few BEB figs introduced in this tourney. I think there are some better looking sculpts in this line than many of the ones showed. However my original vote still stands, and I did like Crush better

Truthfully, I'm not crazy about either of these figures. I'm not crazy about the Gormiti's paint scheme nor really the sculpt itself. I tend not to like transparent figures, and the sculpt of the Transformer isn't that dynamic. I might abstain from voting on this round.

Crush is an amazing sculpt. Like all of us do, when we are faced with a tough decision, we pick some aspect about our toy preferences or whatever to help us make a decision. Right now I'm on a bit of a fantasy kick (I just finished all three Eragon books). I also asked myself, "Self, if you could own one of these figures, which would you want to own." I would prefer to own the BEB.

However, I think the Crawl Daddy is an awesome sculpt, and see it going very far.

Bombos wins this one. MINE has good paint apps! Also, all those yellow craters are cannons, thus says his card.

Bombos is one of my favorite Gormiti, up there with Lunaris, the Final Evolution forest guys, and Armageddon.

Oh, and his "skin" isn't pinkish. it's straight red. This picture is a little dark, but it's closer.

i wouldn't consider that good paint application either - i can see thru the paint to the color below. but then again, i think gormiti are all hype, no substance and not worth my money or time.

*note* infected boils can be cannons if ya squeeze them hard enough.

I voted Megastorm, although the second pic made it much closer in my mind. Maybe if I had both on hand Gormiti would have won but judged on the two pics I went with Meggy.

bombos. i didn't like the transformer last round and i still prefer his challenger this round. who knows, maybe if he makes it to the next round he can be up against one of those suckfest trash bag bunch figures or cheap toys and i'll be forced to vote for him.

well i voted for Bombos!! I never noticed the detail on his mouth before i seen Rids picture.

i like the transformerbot but i also think i would have the urge to snap him, he looks snapable.
