Hmmm, there are some bootlegs mixed into that lot, but that DE looks legit from that pic.

Nope, but I don't like to have more than one Auction Watch per week. Plus I figured I would easily be doing a re-cap. :o

And don't worry, he won't end it early. :D

I wonder how many people will stop bidding on the purple claw auctions to put their $$$ towards this.

The auction has been updated with pictures of the figure front and back, and I've asked for a more up close picture of the back.

This will be the 3rd known, AF has both the other two, so whoever buys it will be the only LRG collector to own one.

3 already exist. More like a common SR. Just like BHS or a SHA. Or a rare.

what really sux, is this is one of the SR's that i really really lust after and there is no way in hell that i will ever be able to afford it.

my only wish altruistically, is that someone here wins it and not mr. *$$h0le.

jkaris, dude i really hope you win this buddy. you deserve it for all the good work you do here.

I'm tempted to put some money down on this but the pictures aren't the best -- what if it turns out to be a bootleg?

Ask him for more pictures. The guy knows it's worth now, so I am sure he will be more than happy to take multiple top notch photos.

Other than perhaps the Magnificent Eleven I believe every super rare has multiple sculpts out there. Dark Emperor is still a more premier showpiece than a BHS or SHA.

Technically, if it turned out to be a bootleg you could get a refund from Paypal, as the listing says they are Mattel M.U.S.C.L.E.s, so if it turned out to be a boot or a Japanese kin, it would be an item significantly not as described case or a substituting lower valued copy case or however that one is worded (even if the seller wasn't aware). Either way, based on the way it is listed you would be covered I believe.

Muscles from the U.S. are made of a harder type of plastic/rubber. While the kinnikuman or kinkeshi figures from Japan are made of a softer more flexible rubber. They can be tricky sometimes to tell the difference from just a picture. So its always worth asking to save you some money and possible disappointment.
