Okay, if any of you are really bored one night, and you happen to have an extra pyramid sunshine, a pin, and an x-acto knife you are on your way. Simply cut the head of o'l sunshine, and go down and cut about the bottom third of the pyramid off. Then all you need to do is take the pin, cut it in half, and use it to stick the head onto the pyramid. Now, you have a new MUSCLE for your collection.... Mini Sunshine

We used to have a guy on the email group, Joe Gibbs. I don't know what happened to him, but he owns M.U.S.C.L.E. U.K. and he made a TON of custom M.U.S.C.L.E.s in his Micro AF (Action Figure) section. They're just like mini Romandos.

That's pretty coo! I think that Sunshine is great to modify due to his vast array of shapes and sizes. Now I'm going to dig out my Sunshines and see if I have any extras!

Another cool way to morph your muscles is to microwave them for about a minute until they are soft and pliable, then sculpt them to the way you want them, and hold them under cold water. As a child, I had a few extra buffalo men, and phoenix men. along with others whos poses made them less powerful fighters so I thought, so I would microwave them put them in cooler fighting stances and then cool them. I will post the ones I still have on my site as soon as I can. I got rid of some when I was trying to make an all pink original set because they were no longer authentic, but still cool. CAUTION though, use extreme caution as microwaves vary in strength, I lost a couple pinkies to the power of heat. Poor poor little buggers, they had so much to live for.

RubzOne has said that he uses a hair dryer to warm up the Muscles and then sticks them under a cold water as well. he was using it to make all of the figures stand up without falling over. but introducing the idea of new poses could make for some interesting possibilities. i also like the hair dryer idea because i would feel like i had more control over the process...Another cool way to morph your muscles is to microwave them for about a minute until they are soft and pliable, then sculpt them to the way you want them, and hold them under cold water.
and as a bonus, you could use the empty microwave to cook an aluminum can and cause a really cool looking spark!

It doesn't burn them if done correctly. Take a soldering iron and let it heat up. Then take the to parts to be joined and put the soldering iron between the two parts at the same time for a few seconds until the plastic become slighlty melted on the surface. Finally stick the parts together right away and you'll never know it did't come out of the mold that way!!!
You have to be fast though because the plastic hardens again very quickly. Maybe you could attach the head on your mini pyramid permanently this way. Using a stove burner would work also.
Cool huh!

Hmmm, so that's where all those Satan Corsses came from.......When you cut and paste your figures, it looks the best if you match up the surfaces correctly. You know, make them cosmetically correct. No overhanging edges and stuff like that! Unless you like that sort of thing!

That is a good idea with Sunshine #3 though. A custom Blackhole Shunshine. But how will you match the sun ray detail around the large Hole in his chest?

I onder what other modifications could be made to other figures!
Peace

Okay, this might sound crazy....... but here I go:But how will you match the sun ray detail around the large Hole in his chest?
1. Cut the rollers out in the square on sunshine #3's chest. X-acto knives are where its at. Leaving a perfect empty square hole.....
2. Take out a drill bit, and make a hole in the middle of the sun ray in sunshin #15's chest. Don't make it too big, or you will ruin the sun ray design
3. Now, Take sunshine #15, and cut a square around the sun ray deal the exact size of the square hole you created in sunshine #3's chest.
4. Then, all you need to do is place the square chest piece with the hole in it into the square on sunshine #3. It will be a perfect fit... just like playing with legos.....

The figure looks great!

I wonder what other custom M.U.S.C.L.E.'s can be created!
