Please look at this auction...

Check the third pic, third figure from the right in the bottom row! It's a M.U.S.C.L.E. Spinning Head Ashuraman! The only bummer is that he is missing his removable head, but it's still the real deal.

he said that the lot includes 1 japanese figure. the SHA is probably that one.

I think that the seller thought it was a Japanese version because he could not find it on the poster. So of course I sent him an email asking him all the appropriate M.U.S.C.L.E. indentifying questions. Here's what he had to say...

This figure in particular is an original.  He is the same hardness, etc. as the rest.  Their is a hole that was manufactured into the figure where his head should go so I know that the head was never where it was supposed to be.  If he ever had one.......I'm guessing it was in the figure's hand or something like that.  If that is the case, the head is not with him any longer.

Look at the color of the figure too. It is exactly the same as the rest of the M.U.S.C.L.E.s. This is an incomplete M.U.S.C.L.E. Spinning Head Ashuraman, but it is the M.U.S.C.L.E. version, there is no doubt in my mind about that.

Here's a pic that the seller just sent me of the headless SHA figure...

As you can see, it is made of M.U.S.C.L.E. plastic and is the same exact color as a M.U.S.C.L.E.

Still not convinced?

Take a look at this shot. Authentic markings, exact M.U.S.C.L.E. color, and looks exactly the way my SHA figure did when I posted pics of him. Notice the ink stains on the feet too, just like the seller mentioned in his auction about some of the figures. Unmistakably a Spinning Head Ashuraman super rare, without the head of course.

After the seller sent me the pics, I wrote him back and said that it would probably be in his best interest to let this auction run its course. I see it going for over $200 because there are 152 figures and a Spinning Head Ashuraman. If the SHA was complete, I could see it going for over $400, but he's missing his head and he is not in perfect condition. The feet have ink stains. But the body looks to be near mint otherwise. No scratches, cuts, or damage, except for the ink.

I'm sure Marty wouldn't mind having this figure to make customs of! All he would need to do is get a hold of the head, or make a custom head form #129 or something similar!

Yeah.......I'm definitely gonna let the auction run it's course.  If I hadn't already listed this figure in this lot you and I could have talked about you buying just that figure from me.  I was always into collecting things and no matter what I collected as a kid, I always hated having doubles of something and I always tried to complete a collecton.  I remember I traded for this figure in particular from my cousin back in the day.  I updated my auction with specific info about this fig so that I can free myself from email bombardment.  Would you please forward me the web address of the message board you are part of??  I'm curious to see what people will say about the figure.  In addition, do you have any other pics of rare, original MUSCLE men that you can send me??

I sent him some pics of the Super Rares I own and also a link to the Super Rare Drunken Master on Nathan's site to bring him up to speed on the Super Rares that have been discovered.

And it looks like we may be seeing him here on the boards soon. That will be cool. I'm sure he can answer any other questions if he decides to join.

Oh, one more thing. From his emails, it doesn't look like he ever owned the head to this figure. It probably got lost a long time ago.

I don't really care if I win this or not. I just put in a few bids to see what the reserve was at. I would actually be thrilled if someone else won this lot and the SHA figure. So for anyone who wants the SHA, please feel free to outbid me. I already have one and do not need two.

the guy said in his info about the auction

"There is one particular figure in the pictures that is not included in this lot and is up for auction separately since I listed this auction before and so many people contacted me wanting to buy this rare figure separate. It is in the sixth row down, third figure from the right with six arms and no head. If you are interested in bidding on this rare figure please see the separate auction that I have listed for it"

Hello all,

The seller ended this auction early to relist the Spinning Head Ashuraman separately. He figured that this would stop the emails about selling just the SHA separatley and allow for a separate auction containing just the headless SHA figure, like Hunter said. In an email to me after I asked him why the auction had been ended, the seller said he was working on a new listing at the moment and it should be up shortly.

I do remember having the head and it might be tucked away with the rest of my stuff. As stated in my auction, I saved EVERYTHING as a kid........so there is hope.......BUT NO PROMISES!!!

I do remember having the head and it might be tucked away with the rest of my stuff. As stated in my auction, I saved EVERYTHING as a kid........so there is hope.......BUT NO PROMISES!!!

You mean the head was still attached just like the spur and center piece is on my Blackhole Sunshine!? Wow, that's awesome! It would have really been worth some money if it was still in such good condition. That's too bad that it is not still attached. Good luck finding the head.

Totally!! I am not even touching this one unless a head is found. I think it would be pointless to have a headless Ashura man. It is cool however, that there is a little more proof that there are super rares out there. I would however bid on a BHS without a chest piece, but that is just me. Let us know if you find a head man, I will bid if you do.

I totally think that the head is a must for this figure too, also like Johnny said. I am excited to see who here on the boards gets this. I hope the seller finds the head. That would be awesome.

Wouldn't it be even more crazy if you won this figure and then just a head popped up on ebay. Then you would have a chance to get both. I wouldn't pass this headless figure by for all that want a super rare. You can always make a custom head!

Hey, you never know. Maybe the figure will stay pretty low in price because of the fact that the head is missing, then you guys will have a chance of getting a SHA for cheap!
