I think just think a lot of companies are using that style plug. I could be wrong but imo just a coincidence.True about the Eagle being the leader the AIR tribe like the Lion is from the EARTH tribe and the Shark from the SEA tribe.
So again we've a pic showing up of BS parts that interchange with in this case an Armovor body but the question I launched on the previous page about this matching fit isn't aswered yet;
Its a realy interesting issue in my opinion, any thought about it?

Thanks for the heads up...
The leader of the air tribe is the only one I really want..
So if the little bird you mentioned before was the leader you would've gone after him?

In that case I guess you already have the Lion and Shark only as well.
For the Eagle you've to wait a couple of weeks as he's planned for the October release but I'm not sure if he'll become available loose as well as for now he's only pronounced to become available within the triple air tribe figure set similar to the earth and sea sets of 3 that are available now.

So far I there is only one figure I liked from DST but I loved Armorvors

From the Pictures I've seen I think the Bird is the best looking one, really just waiting for a review, and what you guys on the Forum think. from what I have read the Lion has had bad reviews and nothing negative about the Water tribe leader. So I'll just be patient and wait.

All the blind box figures are clear figures.Got my figures from BBTS today. Ordered Sunday and got them Wednesday. I got myself a Lion, Bat, and a Blind Box. Blind Box had a clear figure in it which was pretty nice.

Mr. Takaoka
In charge of the Beast Saga Designers at Takara Tomy.
Link: Interview with Mr. Takaoka
In Japanese.
(UPDATE: Just found out LRG Member Adam16bit already noticed this article already on his site a few days ago, srry for that.
Link to his article Battle Beasts Blogspot Adam16bit)

Some questions are discussed within this interview about the production and his personal ideas taste etc.
There has been a poll within one of the V Jump magazines pointing out the most famous BS figures so far;
1 Raioga the Lion
2 Killer Shark
3 Jidamu the Hamster
The Lion figure won this poll by far as the King of the Kingdom of Gloria, the Killer Shark being the hostile Pirate King became second and the Hamster (Jidamu) won votes with its cuteness.

Pirazon the Piranha figure is the personal favorite of Mr. Takaoka so far due to its face that turned out to be pretty realistic.
Where there's a clear battle between the Eart and Sea tribe going on it looks like the Air tribe is endowed with a more Spy like function/task.
He seems to stick to the idea of feet or legs when it comes to the animals that'll be chosen for the BS line because he says its to hard to imagina a 2 legged squid. But he doesn't exclude these and he hopes his design team will manage to come up with some succesfull designs like they did with some other fish characters so far.

Raioga the Lion in line with two upcomming beasts of the October release; Arudairu (Crocodile) and Garisson G (Gorilla)
So far it looks like only the number (100?) of beasts in total is a certain factor while the designs or even animals for newer BS figures are not clear yet outside the upcomming figs within the October release including the Crocodile, Gorilla, Rabbit and others that we found out being available for per-order already. Only the Panda figure is explicitly mentioned as that might have the same function as the Hamster figure bringing in some cuteness into the line, knowing Panda's are really famous within Japan.
All other figures remain a secret!

Ok seen as how I have opened around 20 cases of the clear figures people were asking me about where everything was in the break down of the figures. I will try to give some insight however it is mostly random. The Gold carded Shark and Lion appear most often in the top of the case first level, I would say 80% of the time this is not an exact science. I have had a shark in the top of every case though. The rest of the case is totally random, yet the figures like to be grouped together. I.E. you might open 3 dolphins in a row. As for the special goldish dice. I would not even call these a chase item as they seem to be popping up more and more and have gotten around one out of ever 5-6 figures. I mapped out the first 5 cases I opened and after seeing no real correlation I scrapped that project. So I would say these cases are mostly random with the exception of the gold cards that usually appear on the top row.
LOL that's not the info I was hoping for

Thanks anyway!

BBTS seem to be the most up to date concerning the release dates and figures so based on that we can conclude that the next months, at least for November and October we can expect the release of 2 loose figures and 1 Starter deck (incl. 3 figs)
Planned for October:
- Rhino
- Turtle
- Starter deck Air Tribe
Planned for November:
- Rabbit
- Kangaroo
- Starter deck ?
It looks like December will contain a larger release again due to the holiday's ?
Is there somekind of strategic masterplan behind this way of releasing, it looks like it might work out if the succes of the first release will continue.

Looking forward to the upcomming releases there doesn't seem to be a logic release idea behind it so far.

For October, you forgot the Gorilla and Alligator. So that makes 4 single figures and a 3 figure starter set, so 7 new figures, which help round out all three factions, so that everyone has atleast 5 different characters.
Then the starter set for November is the DX Starter set, which is 6 figures; Wolf, Whale, Owl, Bear?, Orca and Parakeet, giving each faction 2 new characters, and then the two single packs, giving us 8 figures for November. Obviously, the debut month was going to have a lot more figures to help kick start the line. But after that, getting 7-8 new figures a month is awesome. It's more frequent than any other figure line that I collect.
Then in December, right now we have a new Land starter set with 3 figures, and a new booster pack set, presumably of more clears, although which ones is still unclear.

You're completely right my mistake I totaly overlooked those two as they're quite certain for me but the Alligator and Gorilla are planned for the October release so the whole release shedule will change according to that;
Planned for October:
- Gorilla
- Alligator
- Starter deck Air Tribe
Planned for November:
- Rhino
- Turtle
- Starter deck ? (first with 6 fig incl.)
Planned for December:
- Rabbit (Panikusu)
- Kangaroo (Kanigaru)
- Starter deck (incl. Tiger, Panda, White Cat)
- 2nd Serie of Clear figures
So yes we still have something to look forward to the next months!

Captain Eagle Burst (Eagle)
Goldar Burst (Tiger)
Rhynos Burst (unknown, probably the rhino)
Garrison G Burst (Gorilla)
Buffam Burst (Buffalo)
Kannigaru Burst (Kangaroo)
Panicks Burst (Rabbit)
Tarlock Burst (unknown, possibly the turtle)
My guesses are based on the similarity of the past figures' names to the names of the animals represented.

Did these make it to you already, together with the rest you ordered?
If not I'm sure it wont take to long anymore now.
So these 'special' dices, at least I assume they are special give you extra option within the game I supose.
Did anyone dig into these rules yet or it the whole game idea still a mystery for most of us looking at the Japanese youtube vids of the game instructions?
Cool to see that you can actually update you figure with a special dice making your own undefeatable (?) figure within the game.
