It's been a while since I've been able to do any updates. Here are a few things that I've worked on since last...
The Ultimate Warrior was one of my fav wrestlers when I was a kid. I still love watching his old matches and find his intensity and energy very inspiring. I did this 11x14 scratchboard after his passing.
Nickelodeon/IDW crossover Dark Leo. I made this with minimal detailing to flow with the original toy line.
In honor of TMNT's 30th anniversary I made these little guys styled after the image cover of their first comic.

this was requested for a special little boy, so i decided to do a fresh take on Cyborg Donnie. i wanted to keep it relatable to the new toon, so i did not go overboard with the detailing.

I feel like I'm beating a dead horse here (like this should just be accepted as fact at this point) but your customs are AWESOME! What did you use as a base for the Santolouco style Leonardo?

lol, comments are always welcome regardless of deceased horse beating. it lets me know i'm doing something right.
the leo base was a heavily modified 2007 movie base turtle. thanks!

Well, life has been busy so it has been a pretty long time since my last custom. i'll have some new custom minifigs to post here in a bit, but for now I’m happy to kick things off with one of my personal favorites. I wanted to have both of the duo done so I could show them together, but I still have a ways to go on Rocksteady and I’m too impatient to wait, so here’s his bro, Bebop!
This is modeled after the IDW version as seen in issue 39 which was illustrated by Mateus Santolouco. Bebop stands about 8” tall so he is in scale with the 6” Santolouco turtles I made. I’m very happy with how this guy turned out. Next to my Dan Duncan turtle, Bebop is the most accurate figure IDW figure I’ve made.
I used a pair of SF Guile legs, ML Wendigo upper body, and TMNT Classics Bebop hands. Most parts were heavily modified and the head is an original sculpt by me obviously. I’m going to start looking for parts for Rocksteady. Don’t know when I’ll get around to doing him, but he’s on my list.

Thanks Eric!!
Here is the second half of that project...Rocksteady!
He is a beast! At 9.5 inches tall, this is my largest custom figure to date. He's a hefty sucker too! 95% of the base figure was resculpted and the head is completely sculpted from scratch.
Here are the RotB figures GJ provided me to paint for JKaris! RotB figures are excellent quality and fantastic minifigures. If you haven’t picked some up, you really should, they are THAT cool!
