Hi all,
I found some pictures of the collection cards from Mexico; on their back there are points value.
So we can go with the correct points value that Matchbox had planned for their release...
Take a look! :)
There is also an error, Blemmyae is shown as a 20 points figure when instead it owns 25 points in reality.

mmm... That's a good point, indeed...
I'll talk with the sculptor about this name Eric.
Maybe there are no problems with that...

Great looking logo Eric. "Missing from the Pocket" doesn't sound like very natural English to me, perhaps I could suggest "Missing from our Pockets" which is cheekily close to the original phrase, yet far enough to be legally distinct.

Sure, but as mentioned earlier in the thread, the words "In My Pocket" are a fiercely protected trademark of Morrison Entertainment Group, if you were to call it "from My Pocket" that's a lawsuit waiting to happen.

At the end I think could be better to go with something completely different because the risk to be outlaw against MEG is high...
I do prefer to remove the word "Pocket" Because is dangerous...

Huh, it was never a problem for Pocket Monsters aka Pokemon. MEG tried to sue them and it was thrown out of court.

Cannot wait for this project to come to fruition. It's all looking great - love the artwork for the new cards. You could do cards for the whole lot while you're at it, make a full set of the 121 monsters.

Great find with the cards too. The points values don't have to be binding - both Ectoplasmic Phantom and Blemmya are incorrectly rated, after all - but it's probably the best way to make the toys as originally intended. Can anyoen translate the description of Catarenha, so we can finally find out what the hell it was supposed to be?

Hi Dan, thanks for compliments I'm so glad that you like how is going on the project!
The Description say something like: "She always wears a purple silk hat. Was left by the pirates to guard the treasures had been stolen. Has such an heart as that of the most greedy man. Watch out for your treasure!"
Infact if you look at the Mexican/Spanish name they call she: "El Guardian de oro"

Yeah, I got 'Guardian of the Gold,' but that's about as far as my Spanish could get me. Still none the wiser as to the origin of Catarenha. Nor where they got tyhe name Jabalius from for the Beast of Gevaudan. Be cool to see her as a figure though!

Hi guys,
how do you prefer will be made the cards?..
The same style they used on the old ones or we change something??
Name on the top and character design with also a background on the front and back side name, point value, short description and logo... Is it ok or do you wanna change it?
Large logo on the back with a dark background (like the new MIMPs cards) and C.D. with a background on the front and that's all, more clean...? or with a short description below...
Tell me your thoughts

I prefer the classic style cards. Will the cards be available on their own? I doubt I could afford a set of figures but would at least like to ge the cards.

Hey Fede, I think you should try keep the cards as loyal to the original cards as possible, just substitute their logos with yours.
But same size, same borders, etc.. The more these blend in with the original, the more everyone will feel like they're finally getting the missing ones they've always wanted.

Yes, maybe it's a good idea but the drawing style is completely different...
So, the same size and editing style could be right to do but the drawing style is completely modern and different by the original one...
