The rock pieces come from a variety of sources, mostly McFarlane dragons. The blue water is actually a shopping bag - you know the type. The plastic is a LOT thicke than waht you'd get from a grocery store, so the texture ends up looking watery.

He caught me looking at the pics of the drop rundown and pointed out the resemblance when he saw this pic
It could use some more swapped black parts or black paint for Deadpool's look, but it's pretty close.

HUGE score!! Got the Cave Fisher in a lot of windups I paid $49.95 for!!! It's perfect, brand new condition. The last one in this condition, loose, sold for $250 on Ebay. Now I have one on card and one loose, which replaces the other loose one I had that I sold for $199.00!!! Also, another big one, a 2nd Madballs Oculous Orb Headpopper. I already have one, but for $25 I could not pass this up. better condition then mine, I'm going to sell my old one on Ebay and keep this:

Weird, i have no idea what that Cave Fisher is, I had to google it. I would never have thought that something like that would be worth so much. I know nothing of those D&D figs.

The Agustinia demonstrates much that is wrong with paleontology. Very few full fossils of anything exist, and really, a lot about dinosaurs comes from educated guesses. Sauropods are especially rough, too. With the Agustinia, we really only found parts of the spine, which showed off these awesome spiky plates. I mean, come on, how cool is that, right?
Until subsequent discoveries showed that the spikes are most likely ribs and hip bones that we somehow thought belonged on its back. But even with the evidence, some folks want to cling to the spiny sauropod.

This D&D miniature, of a Gauth (smaller Beholder), presented me with a nice opportunity. People tend to ak to see my photo setup and sets, so...
See this cave? With its depth and everything? Actually, the whole setup was:
The terrain pieces mostly came from McFarlane Dragons, and actually are unrelated. I constructed just enough to look like a cave, including a small plug in the back to represent a full wall, or a small mountain range turning into stalactites. Also note the tiny panel meant to cover up the Gauth's black base. I lit it with a small handheld light source, and played with the angle and forced perspective to make the set look like a full cave.

Got this group of 'Lightning Bug Ninjas' for a steal. Seller was incredibly friendly too and included a personal thank you note in the package despite the low price. Faith in humanity restored a bit after my latest experience with a new eBay seller I posted about recently.

Nice score on the army ants, I mean lightning bug ninjas. Finding the weapons/accessories can be a tough to find.
seller also had multiple other auctions with vague or incorrect titles and everything she was selling had a starting bid at $.99. There was one lot of over 20 80's G.I. Joes that ending up going for $1.25, and another that had a TMNT Shredder that didn't even get any bids. Forgot to bid on both

I got this lot for a STEAL. Rare Nasta Link (Zelda) wind up (double, I have one already) and a PaRappa the Rapper wind up:
And some other wind ups that came in the lot. The Tomy Ugh a Bugs (from the 80's) are pretty cool, never knew they made a spider one. :

Are these obscure windups all online purchases or are you just really good at finding things in the wild? Every time I go looking for toys in thrift shops I pretty much only find modern-era wrestling figures and McDonald's toys.
Awesome Parappa though, I had a PS demo CD of that and remember playing the crap out of it. "Kick, punch, it's all in the mind!"
