Am I the only one who thought of Rocksteady from the Turtles when seeing this?

I might be upgrading my pledge. These are super cool.

I thought of him too. Specifically the wacky action version.

Jkaris/Peter, if there isn't going to be any $200 buyers, what are you going to do with the sketches? Auction them off in support of this project?

I can't stop thinking about how effing cool it would be to design my own character for the next series. So I have to ask, what happens after series two? Will there be bidding, pledging for series three characters or will the designers control that since the project is already funded? Hopefully by series three I have some scratch to pledge.

Yes. They will go on to eBay. Not sure when though.

Based on how popular this option has been, I am guessing yes.

Jkaris, I was happy to finally be able to make a pledge towards the project. I felt bad that it took me as long as it did. I was hoping to get it in earlier, but at least I got my pledge in and the project is being funded. Very excited indeed.

I love the look of all 4 figures, and the new concept Rhino looks fantastic! I have to say that out of all the figures, the squat lizard/horned toad is my favorite. But again, all look great.

Really excited for you guys that it's funded and ready to go.

I'm glad you sent out that email. I'd had only glazed over this thread in the past, and had no idea how cool this series was. Your video sold me.

How will getting series two figures credit work with future series 2 pledges etc? I'm curious.

After Series 1 and Series 2 of the smaller scale are finished, there may be a 6" MOTU style figure. A few factories are working on price quotes right now. On the comic, it is possible, depending on how much it will cost to have it penciled, inked and colored. But costs are being looked at for both to see if it is something viable.

wtf is that thing Johnny? A fly?

I not crazy about the larger figs, so you should put the Rhino in series too. And the Capybara.

I like the exoskeletal style armor, but shouldn't the whole body and limbs be more insectoid? But I guess it is still unfinished. Looking forward to what comes of this one! He either needs 4 arms, or 4 legs, or 2 normal size arms and 2 tiny arms or legs. :p

The new guy looks great. He really meshes well with the other characters we've seen so far.

I'be curious to see 6" figures, but if the line is mostly smaller guys, it would be cool if the bigger ones somehow fit into the world of the "regular" figures. You know, like if they were based on larger animals, like a whale or a dinosaur or something.

Or you could have a saltosaurus. People would be like, "What's that guy?", and we'd be like, "He's a saltosaurus", and they'd be all like "Assaultosaurus, I'm not messing with him!".

Heh. Yeah.
