Okay. That Muscle Gallery is unf. I was wondering what was in it... I might have to pick it up now.

Very much agreed on the "Unf" factor of that book. I actually just bought it on eBay. xD;;;

Also it appears I was right. We have a death match on our hands with the winner removing the loser's mask. Proposed by Kin. KINNIKUMAN WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING?! Mantaro is officially screwed regardless of who wins. D:

Suguru hasn't been thinking in this arc. AT ALL. Stupid Yude; you know you can have Mantaro look good WITHOUT ruining one of Japan's iconic characters, right? Right now I'm figuring Mantaro wins, then refuses to take Suguru's mask on the account that he already HAS his mask, or something like that. Suguru realizes he was wrong about the 2nd Gens (FINALLY), and things get all sappy.

Yude doesn't make up new stupid things to piss us off. They use old devices that were awesome in G1 and retcon them to piss us off in G2.

Actually, this might be the result of Suguru thinking too hard and failing at it (thus destroying what little common sense he had.) He was never that bright. D=

I'm hoping that somehow, some way, Suguru's been brainwashed/hypnotized before this whole silly mess, so he really ISN'T thinking for himself. I mean, seriously. Buffaloman helped rip Meat into PIECES, and he seemed to forgive him for that faster than he's forgiving Mantaro.

Being off-topic during the what I deem "plot dumb-assery" (aka stuff with over-dramatic sh*t, Mari, more Mari and female chest monsters) is full of funs. Rather then try to make sense of Yude's choices of 'plot', making fun of it makes things go faster.

Apparently, yes it is. And I thought it was hard to like Suguru in the early chapters of the G1 manga...sheesh. :/

Aside from the "random crowd gasping shots" which usually never seem appropriate or right anyway, I actually liked some of Suguru's early actions in G1. (well the "Monster Hunting days") He really wasn't as much of a coward as people paint him out to be and generally gets the job done no matter how strange it gets.

Realize that asking Yude to do something they are incapable of doing is pretty much pointless.

It's best to go along with the flow and make fun of the incoming disasters. Or better yet, realize Mantaro looks better in a thong in the anime then he did in the manga.
