Yep!
A google search yielded no results other than the wrestler zebediah and the west Nile mosquito virus.
I really, really badly want a mosquito character!!

I can't speak for Eric, but West Nile will be seeing the light of day, as a one-off release.

I'm stoked that people actually bothered to look at the checklist!

You actually made a checklist?

Yeah, the checklist is on  the inside of the newer UoV header cards.

Brilliant.

Seriously. This is just another reason I think UofV is brilliant. I think UofV stands a chance to be a truly collectible mini-figure line. It’s like a perfect storm – short-lived, no pretention, limited information, multiple versions, and great figures.

I haven't seen the checklist so I am curious--is Cythulhu considered part of the UoV line? I thought I saw it listed that way online initially but then it wasn't.

Can we just clear something up since we've got one of the co-creators with us at the moment.

Is it UoV or UofV?

I personally use UoV, but I see lots of other people use UofV. I just want to know if there is a correct way or if it even matters.

I've always shortened it to UofV, but it probably should be UoV.

Most people think University when they see Uof-.

I guess University of Violence is where all the crazy characters from the minds of Jimmy and Eric have to graduate before becoming figures.

That's awesome that you started including checklists! I never got in on the single releases when those started, and definitely lost track of a lot of UoV and related things over time. Like, I still have no idea what the hell Gentlemen of Violence was, and couldn't keep track of all the projects that came later. Guess I need a checklist for that stuff now, too. :p

(As an aside, still waiting to complete my initial UoV collection up to Hell Turtle, but at least I didn't pay in advance!)

I was in the same boat and had no idea how many there were for quite a while. I personally think it'd be awesome to have threads dedicated to archiving the releases from each of the home-cast lines offered by artists on the board (like the Crayboth visual archive I made in the Onell Design section, but for UoV, 1 Shot Toys, etc.).

But excepting that, hooray for printed checklists! :D

Thanks. Yeah, these guys come in some really sweet colours. Love seeing pics of multiple figures in different colours.
Look forward to seeing pics of your collection too buddy. So jealous of that purple Cythulhu! :)

I always like the ring of UoV, and liked the way the initialism looks... But I don't think there is any right or wrong way to go about it.

And, I am really happy that the line still interests you guys, despite it's impending end. I hope Eric goes through with Zebekiah, because the gimmick he explained to me for that figure sounded awesome, and I think it'd make a great figure.  I spent a little bit of time working on West Nile last night, so expect him sometime in early Fall.

Anyways, here's the checklist, for anybody that didn't get one of the new carded figures, so you can keep up!

I hope Eric does continue with Zebekiah too. That's great news for a West Nile release in fall (summer for me) will def be looking out for this guy when he becomes available. UoV is one of my all time favourite indie lines! I actually prefer the characters over most every OMFG and all SUCKLE figures now... More monsterish. More rubbery. More my kind of thing.

Well, I certainly appreciate it!

I know Eric does, too.

Despite how things went, a lot of hard work went into the UoV, and I am still really proud of what we were able to accomplish. Hopefully, some of the stuff that we did right (I consider the monthly release schedule to be a victory) will provide a helping hand to continuing to progress our hobby. We wanted UoV to be the most original and accessible indy toy line, and I am really flattered that it has been as well received as it has been.

Hopefully, some new artists can pick up where we left off?

I'd def like to try my hand at an honorary UoV figure, but obviously that would depend on everyone's reaction to the figure wether or not it would make the cut. Im sure theres plenty of talent around here to follow up and keep the line rolling! *cough- plastic - cough*
What about a comp? :D

I don't know about Eric, and how he feels about it, but I would personally be flattered, if UoV went beyond what "IroNilla" set up, and became it's own entity.

I won't be mad at anybody trying to make figures that fit into that universe, I mean, it's not like anybody can take the originals from Eric or myself.

Try your hand. If you like it, make it, sell it. If it's rad, I'll buy one.

And if not, just go for the Hong Kong-Bootleg style of not breaking copyright law. You know, the way we got "bat Knight" and "Spader-Man."

"Violent Universe."

"Universe of Violins."
