here's a quick one for the ultimate muscle fans. i contacted the seller about their ultimate muscle 9-12 series lot. they said they have all four sets. so, if you buy four, you get one of each. seems like a pretty reasonable price and they also combine shipping. i got mine, how about you?

hell's bells. friday is finally effing here. what the hell took it so long. jeebus. anyone else have a rough day of work? i know i did. had a huge wire pull today and our foreman didn't order the right length of wire. so, after the first few pulls went smooth, we started to notice that the wire was getting pretty low. kick in the balls. nothing is worse than pulling wire and getting about halfway and realizing you don't have enough. what really sucks is it's the really big wire for distribution. you know, the shizznit that weighs a ton. we were using a tugger to pull it up to the second floor but had to pull it by hand back down. gravity works with you and against you at the same time. first of all it makes the wire move pretty quick once you get it moving but then it gets going too fast and you can't stop it. wire that weighs about 10 pounds per foot of length can get screaming through the pipe. it started coming down all by itself and there's no safe way to stop it. when it drops from the pipe in the ceiling to the floor it's kind of like a samurai sword. watch out your you're gonna get something chopped off. we also had to make sure it didn't smash into one of the two 250kva transformers. they're not cheap. all in all it was a pretty crappy day. still better than any day i ever had when i worked in an office though.

EDIT: quick note, if you missed the ultimate muscle 9-12 packs, the seller says they've got a contact who has another case and should have them soon. keep an eye out on their items for sale, you never know when something might pop up again.

super cool fist of the northstar gashapon set. seems like it's all the ultra violent sequences from the movie. if i'm not mistaken one of the statues is a guy kicking through another guy and one is a guy exploding. how can you pass up these ultra violent statues. they'll piss of you wife.

what does facsimile edition mean? has anyone bought from this seller before?

i've bought from this seller a number of times. no worries there. i think the "facsimile edition" means that these are the re-release for the 29th anniversary and shouldn't be confused with the original release figures they sell constantly.

hard to say. it's all the parts from 1 to 30. and you get them all in flesh, the most desired color. they're re-issues so they're slightly smaller and have the trademark bandai four dots system on the back. i guess it just depends on how much you want to spend for these. personally if i could get them at the starting bid i'd be very happy. these are reproductions after all and i don't think their price should be equivalent to the older rarer figures. i wouldn't necessarily want to spend more than that, but that's just me. other members have said that the full priced set which goes for around $1000 is worth the price in figures alone. just put in a bid of what the figures are worth to you. if you get them for that price or less, fantastic. if not, well i'm sure there'll be another set and you can try for that one. don't forget, these sets are popping up on yjp like crazy now, too.

another thought. member superarc1 purchased this set and there ended up being a factory packaging error and they didn't receive a few figures. worst part is that they were some of the most sought after figures. it's a huge kick in the balls to spend a serious amount of cash on something only to have it end up being incomplete. i hope one of the members here can hook him up with his missing figures.

one final thought, the exclusion of the 1991 series figures parts 1-3 is a huge let down. these are some of the coolest sculpts in the set and had they been in there i would have had no problem dropping more than $500 on just the figures alone. without them it's still a really great set, just not as complete as it could have been. the reason for their exclusion is a mystery to me.
