TFW you realize the coolest thing you've seen on retails shelves in a long time are crap-quality KO's of 30+ years old toys.

I found these beauties at Tuesday Morning, of all places. There was also a fourth chrome dragon/robot that I couldn't ID, looked like maybe it was from Power Rangers so I didn't pick it up. Dairugger didn't get a name change for some reason, but does anyone know what TF (or Gobots?) sets the other two are emulating?

My Killer Magicarp arrived today.

It's super-effective. B)

Those are the Stunticons, but the motorcycle and drill vehicle are actually from the Technobots instead, Afterburner and Nosecone.

The plane combiner is a KO of Sixwing, a Micromaster combiner.

I'm sure I could've identified the dragon thing if there was a picture. Maybe Deathsaurus?

Fixed that for you. ;)

Your ability to ID even the most obscure toys amazes me. If we were keeping track, I think you'd have the most "Best Answers" in the ID section by a wide margin. A HUGE thank you for that!

Thank you, but I'm not nearly good enough to ID everything! It helps that a lot of interests overlap here so I know or am able to find out what things are. Were ID requests filled with various plush toys and girl stuff, I could probably find some answers, but I certainly wouldn't have as great a track record.

Not technically in the mail, but via IronMail I got these awesome figures. As always IronMask threw in several extras and was even cooler in person.

yeah I came in here to pretty much post just this. I've said it before but I'm continually impressed by your ability to answer these, so take some more kudos!  I'll try to get over to the store and snap a pic of the other one when I get a chance. The design was definitely similar to Deathasaurus but the head was a little different IIRC.

Recently I received a batch of super cheap kaiju keshi, and a brocotol! I'm in love with that little green dude, even if it is half kitbashed vegetable.

kaiju-brocotol.jpg

Edit: Can anyone ID the little maroon-ish Godzilla in the front-center? He's the only one that doesn't have any kind of TM markings on him, and incidentally my favorite of the bunch.

Entertainment Earth has Mechawhale for $15.99. Pep But chew toy is for my dog for Christmas. Also ordered Cinnamon Bun, but he came in stock later and shipped separately.

Looks like Little Godzilla to me, Godzilla's adopted son as he appears in Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla.

Fantastic kaiju lot, the particular styles of most of these figures aren't the usual ones I see around here.

Shoot, just checked my little Godzilla, and it's the same set as yours is from. Not glow, but color changing, go put him under hot water if I remember right.

I was surprised to see them today as well. I guess postage to AZ is a quick trip. I'm really digging them. The size is nice, especially with the amount of detail they contain. You did a really nice job and looking forward to more in the series. I'll be grabbing the painted versions soon as well. Cool idea with the stickers and exclusive fig.
