I call this update plot karma.

What goes around comes around, Suguru Kinniku-douche.

It's so crazy, it's BRILLIANT...

Maybe.

But hey, maybe this way, Suguru FINALLY realizes Mantaro's not there as a bad guy, and stops with the Douche-Chojin act.

You know Buffaloman should have come up with that solution before they did...he's the one who created the whole "6-to-9" ordeal.

Yeesh, and now even Sayuri is getting the case of the "uglies"...then again she was not that attractive in the first place but she is still Suguru's momma.

So Thunder and Lightning were THAT dumb? I mean, what about those trick hourglasses that flow even FASTER when you turn them upside down! They're all the rage in cartoons, dammit!

It's so crazy, it's BRILLIANT.

Replace brilliant with pinheaded and I would agree with you.

What really gets me about this is that it was painstakingly obvious and yet none of us realized it.

I really want to see fanart of Terryman holding Kin upside down by the ankles while Kin does a thumbs up pose with the words "THIS IS HOW YOU DEFEAT SATAN GUYS." next to it. |:

This week's manga is as follows.
In other words, there is no progress(XD).

Suguru's parents ask Mari to hug Suguru, however, Suguru refuses again.
He says that he refuses not only because he don't want to betray Bibinba but also because he is convinced that he can win despite the hourglass.

Suguru then sets Mantaro for the butt buster.
However, Suguru is getting weak because of the hourglass and Mantaro thinks that he can now reverse the buster as changing 6 into 9.

Mantaro is successful in reversing the buster, when Suguru says that he has waited it.
The sand of hourglass seems to be going up while Suguru is falling upside down, and Suguru is going to reverse the buster again.
Then, the sand of hourglass comes up again and Suguru is getting weaker so that he cannot reverse the buster.
Jikan-choujins say that hourglass curse cannot be solved in such a way.

Just before Mantaro performs the buster, Terry cuts in.

Oh thank god. I was seriously going to cry if just turning upside down solved the hourglass. No progress or not, I prefer it more then then such a obvious fix. Thank you Luna. ;)

... Oh, yeah, I noticed the sand going in a physically impossible direction. @___@ Why did I not think of it sooner? And plus, my coined term of "Turning that hourglass upside down" is now somewhat defunct. *shrug* Ah, well, I'll just use it as a term to mean "It looks easy to reverse a bad situation, but ends up being on a different tangent altogether". ... To turn that hourglass upside down.

Former resident song translator, and as a result, probably the distant, insignificant relative of the translation family on this board.

Update (7/1/2012 [7th Jan]) - Years away can calm a mind down quite well. I don't think of myself as some maligned martyr of the site. Rather it's just that I was unfortunately caught by the mudslinging of a rather unpleasant (and unprofessional) translator, who didn't like people taking the spotlight away from him, particularly if they happened to actually be able to properly translate work, as opposed to him. Nevertheless, despite the fact that all my work was my own, I got constantly accused of plagiarism, thanks to this unpleasant individual constantly saying how I stole his work. (When rather, it was going to end up being the other way round.)

I'm a lot more forgiving about the whole ideal, with how I ended up getting treated on this forum, as a result of this incident, but at the same time, I am still not in any mind to come back and join in again, nor will I uplaod any more of my translation work on here. This includes any of my old work, or my newer and much more accurate work. Some may see this as being petty, spiteful or based off an old grudge, and you may be right. However, I thought I'd explain things a little.

I must ask for the sake of knowing, how bad does a plot point have to be to make you cry?

For me, bad plot points fuel meh funz. Can't troll unless yer having funz.

What really gets me about this is that it was painstakingly obvious and yet none of us realized it.

Lol, I didn't realize Hideo Kojima was secretly part of Yude.

Considering I literally went from "While this arc has its flaws, its still pretty enjoyable" to "THIS IS BULLS**T BULLS**T BULLS**T" in just a few chapters, you tell me. |:

Once we have a blonde super soldier with connections to someone in the series, then yes. Kinnikuman has become Metal Gear Solid.

Don't even compare the masterpiece that is the Metal Gear Solid franchise to this piece of garbage Yude has bestowed upon us. I have lost nearly all of my faith in them to create an enjoyable and coherent storyline. These guys seriously need to take a look at their G1 manga to see what made it so great.

I wasnt trolling about Tamers, it is crap.

they seem to have gotten too much emo, mary sue, useless characters and grimdark in my Digimon. :(

also, i originally made a different post to what you saw, it would seem someone edited my original post removing my dissing of MGS, so i just edited it again and posted what you see now. Hurmm...

Nah. Truthfully, the people who don't like the Metal Gear Solid franchise don't like it because the plot is too complicated for them to understand. Not only that, but it is meant to be played by gamers who are patient and employ strategy and thinking throughout their playthroughs. People nowadays have very low attention spans (aka A.D.D.) and thus don't care for story and just want to shoot things non-stop, which explains why they can't appreciate greatness like this series.

The Metal Gear Solid franchise is revered by many gamers and game developers because each of its installments are quality games. Plain and simple. Nobody does tactical espionage quite like Hideo Kojima. His games just have a certain charm that cannot be replicated in other games.

Anyways.............the storyline of this current arc stinks. You know what, I can't blame Kinnikuman for acting like a douche, because he even knows that this whole arc has been pinheaded so far. That's why he's giving everyone the hostile treatment, because he doesn't want anything to do with this crap.

I don't dislike the MGS series, Blackbeard. I just dislike everything after MGS3, when Kojima decided that instead of being himself he had to please the fans. SO...

MGS3 = Demon Seed
MGS4/Port. Ops. = Time Chojin Arc

Now we just need Meat to shout "TIME PARADOX" and talk about how he experienced a nice sunny day and wondered what the world meant. 62!

Look at the derailing I started, I'm so proud of myself!

I know what you're saying, Matto. MGS 3 was supposed to be the last one, but due to fan demand Kojima was persuaded to continue the franchise. I guess you feel that a series reaches its pinnacle after a certain point and that going beyond that is milking it, am I right? In other words, after the pinnacle you feel that a series loses its charm and grows stale. I can see what you mean, and that is true in some cases. I personally really enjoyed MGS4 and feel that it is just as good as its predecessors, but to each his own :( .

Heh, I love the Meat connection you made with MGS because it works so well. Meat IS a Time Paradox :D .

You know, I've been wondering about something. How long after does this take place after the Dream Tag Team arc? If I recall correctly, isn't the Survivor for the Throne arc literally right after the Dream Tag Team arc?

I don't understand the MGS.

Well there a big gap before the throne arc but i think it's only a few months or a year.
