Also: You must've STOPPED reading after Volume 5 if you think all Keroro Gunsou does now is make anime references. And don't insult it by comparing it to Family Guy, at least KG doesn't go out of it's way to make references that still have nothing to do with the plot.

1. Family Guy sucks, end of story.
2. Keroro Gunso wasn't too bad early on, started to fall apart around the time Dororo joined them (since there were some good stuff in vol. 5-6, like when Tamama becomes the "platoon leader"), then seems to become "incredibly awesome" around the point of the arc with the platoon lead by Giroro's brother...then falls back down again. I still buy it though hoping an ending comes someday...that and out of habit.
3. It's obvious the hourglass is the only reason the Machineguns will lose. It's just pathetic though that they have to handicap them so Mantaro/Chaos can win and reach the final battle.

1. It used to be quite good in the first few seasons. Like the Simpsons, the jokes had more substance, they were clever and made some kind of sense. Now, they substitute any kind of cleverness for pure randomess, like the Having sex with a Rhino that doesnt love you anymore bit. What the eff man?
2. The platoon lead by Giroro's older brother(Gururu) is called the Gururu Platoon. Speaking of characters, we all know Kururu is the best character, righ? right?
3. What i find interesting is that it wouldnt matter if Kid/Chaos defeated the machineguns, because they arnt at their best anyway, so its not a good comparison. At their best was during the Throne arc, not the Dream TagTeam arc.

Giroro Platoon arc was the only good thing in a sea of garbage, considering the chapter right before it started was literally 14 pages of Fuyuki falling asleep while watching a video of frogs playing Soccer (tied with Afroman for worst chapter in the series).

The main problem with the series right now is that even Giroro has given up trying to take over the world, and Dororo's existance is preventing them from even trying. Since they can't take over the world anymore, it's devolved from a comedy about frogs who aren't good at invading into a mediocre slice of life with paranormal elements. They also phased Tamama's owner out of the story in favor of that bland paranormal girl.

Hell yes, by a long shot!! Ironically, While FG started off really good and then downgraded into crap with the occasional laugh-out-loud joke, AD started out as weak but still funny, but by the end of the first season had really stepped out of the Family Guy shadow.

That's because it doesn't rely on mantee jokes to carry the series. I have the first season disk set, and the episodes stick to the plot! The alien is the greatest Seth MacFarlen character ever.

Roger's funny, and I really genuinely like Stan as well. Peter's devolved into an idiot with no grasp of culture or anything... but Stan's a guy that makes mistakes but there's plenty of instances he's been been in the right and makes for a good comedy protagonist.

Funny, i think Roger is the single worst character the guy has ever made. He is completely annoying and is an outright dick to everyone around him.
