Ok, the October figures haven't arrived yet but BBTS has a ton of new preorders up going all the way out to March of next year. There are no pictures at this point but there are different things apparently being added to the line with varying price points. Anyone have any idea what these could be?

I hear ya man, no sign of my Sky Tribe pack or Crocodile. Not even an email. As for the new pre orders, it looks like there are several new figures, including "Mantarei". That sounds like a manta-ray to me. No idea what the Jipurotos, Sofubis, or the Red/Blue preorders are. I was hoping that Bing translate would shed some light but it just repeats the words I've highlighted.

Rumors are that this March 2013 wave will include vehicules.

But I wonder what the "Beast Sofubi Collection" could be. I'm trying to get more informations but with no luck for now. The only hint I have is tha fact that Sofubi means "soft vinyl".

I found that on Google as well, soft vinyl. As for the names, none of them seem to have any japanese meanings. It's funny though, the deer is named Serow. But if you type a search for an animal called Serow, you are referred to a type of goat. Also, I think you're right about the vehicles. As two of the preorders are called "Tank" and "Jyro". The latter probably being a helicopter.

So we have at least 6 vehicules comming: BS-27, BS-28, BS-35, BS-39, BS-47 and BS-48. 2 for each tribes ?
And I think we will see playset too like the BS-49, BS-50 and BS-51 are named "base".

Yeah and if we are talking about the same things they look like they correspond to each of the tribes based on the color in the description. Pretty exciting stuff, and thanks to those that have provided information on this. Not sure how I feel about the vehicles, I really need to see those to make a final decision. But the soft vinyl sounds like it could be pretty cool.

All I know is that my frog and salmon better be in there somewhere!

Edit: Nevermind about what I said before. I confused two different products. The descriptions with the colors are the same price as the single figures, and the bases are just listed by number. Hard to keep track with no pics!

The 5 BS figures that where supposed to be released at the beginning of October (Starter deck AIR + Gorilla + Crocodile) haven't been processed yet as it looks like. I've had them ordered and send to a Japanese address directly after they should've been in stock but so far they haven't been delivered yet. Not sure what's taking so long.

Beside that I (finally) got my first BS fig (Clear Raioga) in hands last night and I wasn't really convinced so I decided let it rest for a night but now after looking at him again I might need another night to think But one thing is already clear for me they are not even close to the feeling I have with the vintage line, which might be due to the missing nostalgic.

These new figures look awesome! I am loving the ray way too much, and am pleasantly surprised by the rest. Not sure if the vehicles will be necessary since they look like they are to be used with smaller figures. The designs aren't terrible though, so after seeing more pics I may keep my preorder.
Also very happy to see the walrus finally making it into the line. I've been waiting for him since day one.
Does anyone know what the red and blue box things are for? It looks like they have something to do with the game element in this line.

Side note: I think the Manta Ray was featured in the Manga, so chances are all Manga charas will eventually appear in figure form. If I recall, there was a crab that was about twice the size of the rest of the beasts, so maybe there are deluxe sized figures on the way?

You're probably already on this, but you should maybe change the order of the checklist as we learn official product numbers. And maybe add clear versions?

Yep, I might do that in terms of numbering order...(maybe not clear versions, as I was just trying to get a grasp on how many diff characters there are ... but let me know if you think it'd be useful! )

I'm guessing that the Morugan character is a flying squirrel. Otherwise the Sky Tribe only gets the duck, which looks awesome I might add. Really stoked to see the bull, walrus, and armadillo. But kinda bummed that there's still no sign of the other eagle and salmon. I guess the Oruga figure is the Raioga's queen? It looks like a lioness sort of.

These are some pretty nice updates for today and if they keep going like this the 100+ figs might come close very soon.
Wonder if they count these clear and white figs in there as well, I guess so, but anyway there are some interesting new figs shown.

Its clear that there are several minds working on the designs as there is quite a big difference in fig appearance IMHO.
The Cool/Fun figs like; Marlin, Turtle, Duck
The Cute figs like; Hamster, Dolphin, Female Black Panter or Chimpansee (still don't know what it looks like), Dog.

Looking at all of them it looks like the best design squad has joined the SEA Tribe looking at the Shark, Piranha and this cool Manta Ray that are pretty bad ass looking.

Looks like we're about to make some serious room for these little fellows as just one shelf wont be enough (Jonny ) to get them all displayed in the future.

I believe he's just a Duck. His name is Dakka, which sounds very close to Duck. And other beast saga figures have had names very closely sounding like the animal they represent.
