So what's the chance on a Purgatory-arc Punisher?

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

HasbroToyShop dates are REALLY not good indicators of release dates at retail. It's not run by Hasbro directly, but more like a company they contract for the job. And releases of figures can vary as widely as a month in advance to a month after toys arrive in mass retail, although they're getting better about that.

Yeah, I'll be hoping for an in store find myself. So far I've only had to buy the Exclusives off line.

My first plan is to get a bunch more Handful of Heroes this weekend if I can, and maybe TRU has the other 2 3 packs in by now. e+ Other than those nothing I need is out right now I don't think. :thanks: Still ain't pulled the trigger on that Nick Fury either. :hi: Just can't stand the thought of paying $30 to $60 bucks to get a stinkin exclusive...even if I could find the time to actually use the comic subscription.

I finally went back to the one place in town I saw classic Ms. Marvel and picked her up (they had 8 or 9 nobody else has had even 1), where are people getting the Blob Sabertooth packs? I've only seen the new orgins at K-Mart and they won't be restocking ever. They've still got the same Marvel Universe figures as when I started buying them only now its down to two sad little pegs.

Are you as creeped out as I am by the horrible sculpting on her? It's like they were trying as hard as they could to make her a really shizznitty figure; the only good part is the head. Hell, the other version looks pretty shizznit too. Why is it they can do male figures brilliantly but the females are rotten?

Yeah it is a very weak sculpt. I wanted both classic and modern Ms. Marvel until I saw them, I bought the modern version and that would have been it but I need my MU fix.
My morning wasn't a complete loss though because I found DCs' Infinite Heros Captain Marvel (Shazam), the Big Red Cheese was the last of my must haves for that line. It helped me realize the thought process behind releasing so many Hero characters and very few villians in the MU. With the exception of Killer Croc all the villians I have just happened to come with other figures that were on sale that I wanted.

I also got a Mavrick figure from X-M:O I was hoping I would see him on clearance but again I need a fix and really now that I've got him out of package he is a sweet looking figure.

At least, they better not.

How come I haven't heard anything about this until now?

hell yeah wave 5! i'm stopping at target tomorrow. hopefully they don't suck, target that is. will prolly hit them every day until wave 5 hits. i refuse to go to sprawl-mart again. well, maybe. damn this addiction. i haven't bought a marvel figure in over a week! luckily my second invaders set arrived last week to help with the withdrawals. i think i'll buy some handful of heroes and tape one to my arm like a nicotine patch. i bet that'll work. i'll have to be a good figure though, like juggernaut.

What's weird, is I'm actually more excited about the variants that will be snuck into Wave 5 more than the new characters. The Namor is really about the only one I'm really excited about. :spiteful: That and finding my Gray Hulk. What sucks is a bunch of my stores just recently put out the Wave 4 refreshers last week, so it will probably be a while before I actually find any of Wave 5. Hopefully Target will have them out first, since their shelf stock has been the same for weeks so far.

i'm also more excited for re-releases than i am for actual wave 5 putos.

figs i still need to get are moon knight, grey hulk, bullseye, daredevil, captain america (hopefully with the straps on the shield still), x-force wolverine and classic iron man. these should be relatively easy to pick up in the stores though over the coming month.

put up some new shelves today.

Attached File  IMG_0587.JPG   487.44K   20 downloads

here's my current collection of universe, although there are 5 not pictured. 3 will be in the mail on tuesday, one i forgot about and one i just didn't bother opening yet. this arrangement is just temporary though. didn't take the time to pose most of them. some i had to pose just to get them to stand up (stupid blade garbage face). anyway, i got these shelves at home depot today and threw them up. have more to put in but i can't decide if i want them to be on the other side of the window or up above this set. eventually i'm going to have three rows on both sides of the window, but i'm not going to get crazy just yet. also, still waiting for my son to officially move which may be a couple of more months, so until then, he's still got a bed in this room.

Cool little shelf Dan! And the Rancor fits in pretty well with this line. :) Really, he could pose as Sugar Man.

I always thought it was cause he looked hungry all the time. :) I remember an issue where I think he fought Wolverine though, and I can't seem to find it. :D Could have been another large mouthed character.

Oh, and to give Toybiz some credit, they actually made a Sugar Man figure back in the 90's.
