So, Peter Benchley, eh?

It was the closest thing that didn't clash with my red comforter. But the book has been good so far. And it has received almost as many comments overall as the figures (I posted this on FB as well)

Minor NSFW warning about 2/3 of the way down this post

I picked up some of those Walking Dead not-LEGO miniatures.  I was not disappointed.

Michonne.png

And then I got some new Demon's Chronicle figures.

Leonard, whose name really is pronounced like the normal human name.  He's based on Baphomet (he actually has three horns), and is in charge of, um... lustful sins.

Leonard.png

The Crow Witch, who isn't based on anything (series 11 of DC was really just scantily-clad versions of older figures. Instead of a specific demon, this one is based on the generic witch), but if you swap the crow skull in for her head, she looks like a female interpretation of Malphas.

CrowWitch-Human.png

CrowWitch.png

Selene is the Greek goddess of the moon, and HOLY CRAP, WOMAN. CLOSE YOUR ROBE!

Selene.png

Khnum is one of the great creator gods of Egypt.  Often referrd to as the Great Potter, he created the other gods and all humans out of clay, which is what this figure is doing right here.
Khnum.png

And finally, two "doubles":

my Bishop Fish lost his hand months ago.  It's gone.  I finally got a replacement today, and I am very happy!

BishopFish-1.png

And since Caacrinolaas has more or less become my writing mascot, I picked up another one.  My original figure is getting some paint scuffs here and there (paint rubbing off his nose or the side of his front legs, the darker wash wearing off the yellow, etc.), so I have an extra whose purpose will be not getting scuffed up with wear over time:

Also realized I didn't post these little beauties! How dare I! Just got these on Saturday.

To begin with, I got a pair of Pizza Demons sculpted by Eric Nilla - one of them is red, but turns yellow when exposed to heat!
PizzaDemon.png
PizzaDemon-Black.png

And then, from Japan, I got "Mother Harlot" from Shin Megami Tensei.

*ahem*

This is the Whore of Babylon.  You know, MYSTERY: BABYLON THE GREAT, which rides on top of the Scarlet SEVEN-HEADED BEAST FROM THE SEA with seven heads and ten horns and... wow.  For serious.  Like, I could use it as a teaching aid (I might).

I picked up some McDonalds Diener dinosaurs (orange row) and what appear to be Diener knockoffs. If anyone has details on the non-Dieners please let me know. Would also like to fill the missing color caps if anyone else has some of these  :)

You know, I've noticed that my posts in this "Your newest toy acquisition" thread are kind of, shall we say... singular.  Unique.

Person 1: "I got some new Battle Beasts!"
Person 2: "I found a few new Marvel Legends at TRU!"
Person 3: "I just picked up some new Glyos! I love Glyos!"
Me: "I just got THE WHORE OF BABYLON WHO RIDES ATOP THE SEVEN-HEADED BEAST AT THE END OF THE WORLD, WHOSE CUP IS FILLED WITH ALL THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.  I like how the wings are removable."
