Every now and then you will see a Neclos with a little plastic crystal/gem in its chest. Usually blue green or red.
Even rarer still are the ones like this.

I thought it was plastic until I actually got one into my greasy claws. It seems to be pewter or aluminum (maybe steel). Definitely metal of some sort.

Reminds me of some sort of Ganondorf Totem

I always just assumed it was plastic, but after reading this I checked my Darqueen and you're right!

The Neclos figures with removable pieces seem to be some of the least common in the line. The Darqueen figure in particular is a tough one to get, especially with the chest piece included.

I picked up a Chimeric Worm from Mage Knight, which coincidentally happens to look just like the Goetic demon Bune  (the heads even match).

Speaking of Bune, he makes appearance in my newly-published short story,  Zombie Walk.  You guys haven't read it yet.  You should read it.

He even made sure to include 2 of every color for the capsules. :D

I appreciate the hookup Strontium.

Awesome mail day today! Having a couple of weeks off work has enabled me to check eBay a little more often, as well as continue with my alternative searches. Once again, both of these have paid off :) Both lots came with plenty of random toys, which will be going to the charity shop later this week. Only slight downside - a second Horrors n Heroes figure that was in the BEB lot was badly damaged, but I knew that when I bid.

Those BEBs are either bigger than I imagined or you have girly hands.

Regardless, nice figures!

Haha!! They're around 1 inch tall bud. I'm around 6ft 3, but must have slim hands ha! Getting these BEBs 'in hand' made me appreciate how good a job that guy Rich did when he did his re-casts.

Here's a size comparison pic for anyone who's interested. By the way, I just found that large green figure on the right lying around - not sure who sculpted that piece of crap?!?!

Ha not quite! I think the average male height in England is 5'9". I'm a bit of a freak in the family though as my mom is 5'4 and my dad 5'9". My wife is 5'10", so maybe some big babies in the future maybe... ;)

If you have to force, you're doing it wrong!

Great purchase Burty. The green and yellow Bad Eggz I have already, funnily enough the only BEB I've ever owned two of. However, that blue Poacher... oooooh.

Thanks Stront - yep I've seen the green and yellow pop up in the past, especially the green Yolkyuk, but the blue Poacher not so much. When they popped up as a BIN I had to make a decision without having the time to check if they were hard. Out of curiosity, how rigid is your Yolkuk's stick (if you don't mind me asking ;) ) as mine seems to have a bit of give when I push it compared to my resin cast version. Definitely not rubber though.
