Just a thought. What about some custom dice with the old school symbols.

Takara maybe!?! :)

LOL think they have had good reasons to part with the original symbols, and I'm not that dissapointed to see the Land/Air/Water solution they came up with.

I actually used to ignore the game element of the original line and generally had the land, air, sea dynamic going on with my old toys, so this new feature was a welcome change for me. But it would be very cool to see some custom dice with the fire, wood, and water symbols at some point. I'd say with all of the talent out there its only a matter of time. :)

If anyone knows the dimensions of the cubes or sticker area of the cubes, it would be easy to create in Illustrator. Save and post a PDF, print to adhesive paper. (Or normal paper glued on.)

I like them too, but it would be cool to get a little Fire/Water/Wood action going on with two sides per cube.

Honestly, I like the new figures more than the old ones.

I've been thinking that for a while, but I felt like I was "cheating" on the originals somehow. Some of the Battle Beasts are timeless in my opinion, but some I never really cared for as much as the others (horse, antelope). And I'm not a fan of Laser Beasts at all, with the exception of one or two. They just look a little off to me.
While there are a few of the originals that will never be topped in my opinion, the Beast Saga sculpts have been extremely impressive. The birds in particular are a huge improvement over the originals.

I wonder if they're like Marble Blasters. Remember those cheap-o things you could find on clip strips at grocery stores? A good way to chip your teeth.

I really, reeeeeally hope these get released in the USA.

The sculpts on these Beast Saga figures is an incredible step up... The gameplay feature looks like a lot of fun, and I'm willing to bet that they have a great replay value, as well.

I'm a big board gamer- Quarriors! is a dice game with great replay value. I hope Beast Saga is more than rock, paper, scissors; otherwise they are just cool bits for a kids game.

Quarriors:

http://boardgamegeek...91536/quarriors

And, yes, the Sky figures are amazing- as good as BBs/LBs if not better (a scary thing to admit!).

Be carefull about what you say Jonny :)

But looking at the Quarriors you like Beast Sage seems like the perfect combination between this boardgame and the original BB so now I know why you placed some pre-orders LOL

So far no release in N. America. BBTS and tfsource has preorders up. They should be released in September with other releases slated for October and November (even though looking closely at the new pics they say 9/3/2012).

I was never really into the bugs. But having given it some thought I would like to see a hornet, praying mantis, and maybe a mosquito. Could be interesting.

I'm still very curious as to what Beasts will be included in the Warriors of Land random Booster.
The Beasts pictured include sea and sky Beasts.

Croc & Gorrila are being sold in single boxes.

Bear & Parrot are being sold in the DX starter set.
