Good news, Wave 2 has been deliverd within Japan so I guess we can expect them within a couple of days/weeks at our international addresses. My package was forwarded directly so if I'm lucky I will get my hands on the Crocidile and AIR tribe set soon. Still don't know where the delay came from but they're on their way now!

btw Lord what's the status of your unboxing 24 Random boxes with the kids, can you confirm as well that there are 3 complete clear sets in it?

I can confirm it, yes there is, but only 2 gold dice (1 to the dolphin, 1 to the bat) and only 2 gold cards (1 to the lion, 1 to the shark). They are stored in the front top of the case too. So usually when you open a case those gold items will be the first things you pull out of a case.

I thought I'd heard originally that Wave 2 were supposed to come out on October 6th. Hopefully they make it here next week sometime.

Are the gold dice unique or the same for both dolphin & bat ?

The gold dice are the same, they only have (2) 6's printed on the dice, but 6 is the highest for a dice, so that is why its golden, its suppose to be a big advantage in the game to use it instead of a dice with 3 or 4, another rare dice is the one with number 5.

When it comes to design it looks like they've at least more potential than the ugly chariots and bases that came with the vintage line but so far these pics are the only ones we have without any additional info. The pics do show some kind of weird figs with a (plastic soldier like) footplate, no idea where that comes from. Assuming they're for the normal sized BS figs they have to be pretty big in some cases.

I have everything preordered except for the red and blue card boxes. There is a good chance I will cancel my vehicle preorders though. They look cool enough, but I'm not liking the little figures they come with. At the price they're set at, I think they are probably too small for the regular figures to fit in. I'm also worried the bases will get the same treatment.
I was really hoping that at some point they would release displays similar to those Takara used at their booth to place the figures on.

Ultimately, for me anyway, it's too early to make a decision on the playsets. I really have to see more of them to make a final decision.

I agree that at the price point on those vehicles/playsets, they will most likely not accomodate the regular sized figures.

From the pictures, it looks like the red and blue boxes are like electronic card scanners or something?? It looks like they are swiping the trading cards??

Has anyone gotten a die with the 5 on it. Is it a chase in the dice booster sets?

Also, one of the preorders (I think its like $26 or something) it says BS44 D Figure. Wonder if that's a deluxe or oversized figure, like the crab someone was talking about in the manga.

That's about the markings I could find on my Clear Raioga figure so no numbers or dates of the release like we've seen on the vintage line.
So far I'm still awaiting the normal (non Clear) figs to arrive as they are at customs at the moment but I assume these have the exact same mark on them?

The TOMY name is mainly used for the international toys while the name Takara-Tomy is used within Japan, could this be something they've done on purpose or am looking to see something that's not there.....

I think its to bad they didn't add numbers to the figures (suggesting the normal ones have the same marks) as for collectors its sometimes pretty usefull to have a small number mark on it.

Its something I just noticed and I was actually quite surprised that they don't have the Takara name marked on them.

the bat head I ripped off the clear one had a number on the inside of it. I will be dammed if I remember what the number was now as it is in PlasticSoul's hands but I am pretty sure it had a number on it behind where the neck cowel comes up.

So it was only visible when the head was ripped off!?
Might have been just a production number maybe?

Very cool! Glad to see you finally got your figures! Also happy to see you got your wave 2 figures first, its kind of like being rewarded for having to wait so friggin' long for the first set!
So now that you have all these guys, are you liking them any better? I'm digging that croc, but I have to wait until Monday before I get mine.
