jUST noticed this: that little mech guy in one of the last pics...what is he and where can I get more of them??!!

He is apparently Exodia: The Forbidden One from the Yu-gi-oh toyline. I will happily trade him with you if you want him It will probably be worth sniffing out some other stuff (if you want any) as shipping costs may not make a trade worth it for one item!

YAY! so i finally FINALLY completed my colored claw set. much thanks to my new bud in the UK, jmckinnon! i was able to trade for the salmon claw i have been looking for since last year when i found my purple claw. so after a very short wait, considering it was coming from england(scotland!), i got my salmon claw in the mail yesterday! YAY!!!!

Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland form the United Kingdom
Eire (Or Southern Ireland) is completely independent of the United Kingdom

Don't worry - you're not alone. The UK is often called England by folk who don't live here!

We Scots are fiercely proud though and are happy to clarify when people make that mistake!!

I got another 20 M.U.S.C.L.E. figures in the mail today! They were purchased from sherrie.









The figures in the back row of last picture, as well as the 208 at back right of the third picture, are purple. The figures in the front row of the last picture are red. After they get their scrubbing, I'll photograph them in the morning.

The first chapter starts off while he was a kid. The "Old Man" was a pawnbroker before he was a pawnbroaker. The Old Man's job in the Navy was in the finance area. The Old Man was offering payment advancements in exchange for interest or items. He also made money/took home items as a poker dealer.

Talks about how not to look down on people. One story goes an old lady walked in and demanded to look at all the jewelry, specifically the most expensive. The old lady didn't look like she really had any money. When the old lady saw the most expensive item, she said I'll take it. She then pulls out $4,000 out of one of her socks.

Haha! Sounds like one of my old hippie friends... he's a very accomplished musician and works construction by trade. So you can I'm sure imagine his usual appearance and manner of dress. Well there was a piano store that was having some big blowout sale and he wandered in looking for a particular type of organ I believe. He was looking around and found what he was interested in... asked the nearest employee about price. The response was something to the effect of: More than you can afford! So he promptly pulled a few grand from his sock (no joke.. rolled in his sock) dropped it on the counter and said... yeah you're probably right, and left.
